I've had mine for 3 years now and it's still sparkly and looks great. I've changed some of the charms so some of them are quite new, but my old ones are just as good. The ALE and 925 on some of the old charms have faded a bit, but they keep well. The bracelet is floopy and that's about it. I do have a spare bracelet just incase the one I am wearing breaks, but that's also 3 years old. I think they keep really well and I polish mine using the Connisseurs polishing cloth. x

I think it's fine if the safety chain sits on the bracelet threads as long as its not tight against the clasp to put pressure on it or the threads.

I personally like the thread kind of safety chain better than the clip kind even though the clip kind is easier to get on and off a bracelet thus making it easier to change out and use on different bracelets without having to take everything off.

i have also just bought 2 wide stripe clips they retired in 2008 but i have managed to get them brand new and at only £30 each i have also ordered the retired lion and perfume bottle so hopefully i should get those on tuesday fingers crossed.

i am also off camping to york on the 2nd june cant wait need a break but i am just hoping we get some nice weather so i can get the barbeque out and have a drink.

oh and if you remember the extra bracelet i ended up with the purple theme which i didnt really mean to do but just had excess charms well i have let that go so i could get something else which i know i shouldnt lmao i will share pics when i have my naughty replacement lol.

I didn't know they had a lion. Sounds nice and I love the perfume bottle, although I've never seen it in person.

Have fun on your camping trip. Sounds great! We have a pool so we're getting ready to open it for the season.

I like the raindrops too. I'll probably end up getting that one for my bracelet, and maybe the flower one for my next bracelet.

I was thinking maybe you could tie a piece of string, 4 cm long, to the bracelet and see how that length would be, or maybe use something that will be easy to remove.

I've only bought twice from Perlen, and have a third order due in this week. I think it would probably cost a lot of money to return it. I remember I priced something to ship to China and it was a lot. Do you have a store near you that you could look at whatever it is you want to buy first, then order from Perlen?

jewelryluver i cannot wait for my replacement to come hopefully it will be here in the next couple of days so i can take pics.
i would love to have a pool but its way to cold here in the uk for that.
the lion is retired so thats probably why you havent seen it but its nice and has little yellow stones as eyes.

It gets pretty hot here in the states in the summer, but we can only use the pool for about 4 months. I wish it was indoors so we could use it all year round. When we bought this house, the pool needed lots of work. We could either fill it in or have the work done on it. Since we never go on vacations hardly, we decided to keep the pool.

The lion sounds adorable! I can't wait to see pics :)

hi all i am so excited waiting for my post today i am expecting the spotty head penguin,lion,perfume bottle and 2 wide stripe retired clips wooohoooo.
i am hoping my naughty replacement for my purple theme i got shot of will be here tommorrow.
and then that will be it for a good while as i will need to save up to get anything else as money is now running low lmao.
i also need to make sure i save some cash for when the autumn/winter new charms come out which is usually about september here in the uk.

hi all right i got my items today but i am little annoyed as what i thought were wide stripe retired clips arent clips at all just normal beads so they are now on my daughters bracelet as i dont like them lol.
i have changed all my jewellery around i have my purple leather with 2 clips 2 looking pink muranos spotty head penguin and the 2 chinese new year charms.

and i have mixed my main bracelet up with some of my retired beads and it now has no muranos on there at all.
i decided to keep my 2 white looking muranos incase i fancy a change.
so the charms i had on my silver and gold bracelet are now on an ordinary silver pandora bracelet as i have decided to sell my 2 tone bracelet and my purple theme that i started and also my normal none pandora gold bracelet.
all to fund my replacement that i have bought which is ......i know i said i wouldnt do it......but i couldnt help it..........its the.........hmmmmmmm gold pandora bracelet and 2 gold ribbed clips lmao.
it really did have to be a good reason for me to part with my other bits but i like this ALOT.
so i have a theme going on with my leather bracelet and a full bracelet and will have a gold bracelet and 2 gold clips so thats me happy.

and at the very most i will only centre fill the gold but i will save and buy just 1 gold charm and it will be staying like that for a long while.
