Insane prices. Luckily for us the prices here in Norway are still very affordable. Here, you can easily get limited editions silk scarves and vintage silk scarves in prestine condition for approx $140 -190. Bracelets, belts and scarf rings goes for these amounts as well. Of course store bought items are listed higher, but most of the time I'm not sure sellers know what they are offering...

Ha:) I realized the same and was thinking if that could have something to do with the Janteloven?

:giggle: nice to "meet" a fellow Norwegian here;). That could be the case, but I think it has more to do with Hermés representing upper luxury goods not worn by, or available to the grand audience compared to other premium/contemporary designer brands that are lower in price. I rarely see Hermés worn where I live, mostly it is dominated by MBMJ/MJ, MK, LV. I believe most buyers won't buy very expensive items online, and if they are to be sold, sellers list them in the middle pricerange of these items. Of course there are sellers who apparantly end up selling their items at a very low price, either that may be because they need a sale, or they don't know the true value of the item, I don't know... There are listings of very rare items at low prices compared to else where, but I think you have to know you label and what you're looking for to make a scoop. In regards to Janteloven....well, perhaps some people feel that it is a problem, but I believe that if you activly search for or sell Hermés items, you can't be that taken with what everyone else mean or think. I love Hermés, but I choose well, and go for timeless items.
