Dear Ulf, thank you so much for the information and the link!! I wish I was in Europe right now!!!
Cristobal leather!!!! sounds gorgeous!!! Congratulations!!!!
Thanks, and you're welcome! It's my favourite backpack ever, and I've gone through quite a few backpacks during the years. It's very comfortable to carry and holds a lot considering how slim it is. The 27 size is just big enough to fit my 15-inch MacBook Pro.

I saw this backpack...I think it is gorgeous... I haven't been able to locate at my local boutique ...H.com does not have it either!! Do you guys know if it is indeed really rare? the size very difficult to get? Thank you!!!
Whilst MK's prices are high, it should be noted MK lists and sells on behalf of clients and it may be that her price reflects the price the actual owner of the bag is trying to achieve plus a mark-up plus a margin to cover eBay and PayPal fees. H backpacks are available on line on occasion as well as rare vintage ones being available on eBay (especially in Barenia and also canvas) from time to time.

She can ask for any price she wants, and someone might eventually buy it at this price. This doesn't alter the fact that the asking price is very high, considering the fact that you can still buy it online from Hermès. There is no guarantee that it will be available in black epsom though.

I think that is what I said Ulf

I guess so. But anyway, we are free to comment on the high asking price. This whole thread is dedicated to high auction/reseller prices. As a buyer, it doesn't matter to me what her clients are expecting or what fees she pays – I only consider the asking price which is stratospheric for this backpack. If she gets what she's asking for, more power to her!

ULF, I fully understand the purpose of the thread! equally it is perfectly reasonable and fair to make additional comments if the writer feels it useful, you can chose to ignore them or take them on board when considering prices - the original poster had asked if the price was fair, I had merely added more substance to a sellers price structure, I am neither endorsing nor slating the prices charged, merely adding another dimension. Cost is fact - price is opinion.

That's hilarious. It even says "LA pickup available" and I have seen this in the BH boutique.
Is there an audience on eBay that just doesn't care and picks up what they want at whatever price without knowing or caring whether it's available at retail?

I know, right? I think this seller is just shooting for the stars, hoping that someone who doesn't have a clue might fall for it. Luckily, we PFers know better :p.
Although I must admit I am still hunting for a nice ombre lizzie with many rings - not so easy to find here in Europe. Without rings not so difficult, but with lots of rings quite a challenge.
However, there's no single way I would spend 4,5K for it, that's for sure :blah:.

It always makes me laugh when I see sellers on ebay charge $500+ for calvis. Seriously? Do they deliberately WANT to let that stock accumulate dust on their shelves? Unbelievable..
