Am I smoking something to think $26,500 is a mite high for a VINTAGE box calf mini Kelly complete with tarnish on the HW? I can get one in croc for less. And this from a reasonably sane seller.

I think this is an extremely reliable seller, but many of her prices over the years have not been sane. (I have been following for a very long time.) Have you seen their website? Honestly, many prices are pretty outrageous and I feel this seller is one of the reasons why prices have become so high.

I talked to her once about a bag for my DH, which she had listed at a crazy price, and she told me it was retail price (which it wasn't). When I challenged she said she sets her prices as her consignors request. But this price for a vintage box bag is just insane!

I think it's impressive that someone's going to pay $50K plus tax or more for a gator Mini Kelly, especially when they can still be found in stores at half of that.....then again many prices in this sale are impressive. I hope bidders understand there is a 25% premium!

I stopped by Century 21 the other day and saw they had a small selection of H bags. They had a mini Constance in what looked like Epsom for over $14k! And a black "B35" (pretty sure it was a B30) for 16k, and a black k28 for about 22k. It was madness.

I remember seeing a cute suede bag with fringe -- I forget which H bag it was but it was tiny. And 13K. Even the SA winced. I wonder who buys these outlet bags and where they get them. NM and Saks outlets have them too. Old bags not in terrific condition with astronomical prices.

I wonder the same things! I'm also not sure who the store is hoping to sell these bags to. People (myself included) go into Century 21 looking to score a deal on good brands, not pay double retail price for a used item!

I saw this backpack...I think it is gorgeous... I haven't been able to locate at my local boutique ...H.com does not have it either!! Do you guys know if it is indeed really rare? the size very difficult to get? Thank you!!!
