And I've been searching for an 03 or 04 pewter HW weekender for a couple of years and feel lucky to have found this beauty from s/s 04.

SO SO SO happy for you that you found this. LOVE the even quality of the leather and I bet it is soft as it gets. What's better than this?
And have never see a blue jean clutch. What great luck you have had lately.

maxxout, thanks. I think the WE will get softer with use. It's unbelievably mint. The seller told me it's only been carried once and I totally believe it. Can't wait to break it in. Such a nice feeling to find a hg after a long wait and search ... The blue jean clutch was just a total surprise. I didn't even know this existed. Has anyone here ever seen one of these before?

Thank you KayMomto3. The flat clutch too is mint, I don't think it's ever been carried. There are certainly no signs of use on it. I feel very lucky to find 2 beautiful oldies in such perfect condition.

WOO HOO!!! Wow "D" congrats on 2 amazing finds. The WE looks beautiful with that fine wrinkling and to find it in perfect condition too, that's just the icing on the cake.

Love the Flat Clutch too, it's the first time I've seen a Blue Jean one. I'm curious how it feels in the hand compared to the 04's with the strap. I know you've been looking for one of these for a while now so ENJOY!!!

Thanks silverfern. You're my clutch inspiration -- I really enjoy carrying these gems now.

The 03 clutch sits beautifully in the hand. You know, more excuse to touch that lovely leather. I usually hold the flat clutch with the strap in my hand too rather than dangling it from the strap. But sometimes it's nice to just slip the strap over the wrist and then hold the clutch, it feels a little more secure that way I guess (good when walking around the centre of town late at night). But the pewter hardware is just so lovely. I posted some modeling pics over in the CCC cool clutch club.

Now, if only I could find a black flat clutch, I'd be just about clutch content ... (if there is such a thing).

French, beautiful. Looks so soft, puffy and beautifully broken in. And mint! I'll have to work a little on mine to get it to be as soft as yours. Congrats.

I have had to dump out my drool cup at least 6 times looking through this thread at the latest "oldie" finds; my god!!!!!

I miss my oldies, especially the Yellows (Marigold, Mustard, Anis, '04 Yellow); IMO .. Balenciaga has not been able to reproduce those colors with the same depth/saturation of color in addition to the buttery softness of the leather.
