I liked The OC & I love Chanel, but it's funny that I never noticed the Chanels on the show. It's probably because I always assumed the Chanels were fakes/props or maybe because the storylines were just too good.
I can't imagine a high earning & popular show such as 'The OG' would use fake Chanel bags, clothing, & jewelry!

I didn't even know a thing about Chanel when the OC first aired - I was a really poor college student then. Now I have this ridiculous urge to re-watch the first couple of seasons (until they kill off Marissa)!
I have to disagree. In season 1 Summer (who lives in a house of approximately at least 4 million dollars) is wearing a fake pink Birkin (repeatedly).
Sad, I think. I mean if they don't want it to cost a lot, they could've made her wear an LV bag. But at least it'd be real. It's also totally not in character for her...she wouldn't want to be seen dead with anything fake.

pretty much everyone agrees it's a fake.
I did like a lot some of Marissa's evening dresses (the Chanel posted above, a few black ones, the one she wore in the first episode).
Love love love this show! I rewatched a couple episodes on soapnet the other day LOL. The high school me never knew what a chanel bag looked like!
