That is one hot bag! I've been purposely avoiding any new LV releases since I have my upcoming wedding and well, I'm in sticker shock over how much we're spending. Though I noticed this bag in the fall ads and it literally took my breath away.

I placed my name on the wait list back in July when the pictures of the bag were first released. So, if it's in, I should have gotten the call already. Might be heading down that way today...

And the trunk show had the Carousel, but it was personally to small for me. :D

I spoke to my Saks SA today and she said she only got in 3 Speedy's-all spoken for since July. I just got the call last week that they were in-and I'm in the midwest. Call them asap!!! I hope you get one!!

Yeah, there are two LV's in Minnesota. A total of 7 Speedy's have been allocated to MN stores, so I have a feeling that they're gone by now. I was starting to want the Cassis before it was gone too. I'll take it as a sign.

It is a gorgeous bag... I went into my LV and talked to the manager, she said they haven't gotten their shipment in yet (no clue if it's true or not). She did however have 2 different Carousel's behind her in a display case. Which I thought was a little weird if they really haven't gotten their shipment in yet.

I am sure that they received at least one. My SA said that they only received 1 (my purchase) but they are not expecting any to arrive with the shortage and all. I believe this collection is available for 3 months so maybe right before Christmas.

It's a regular Speedy-like a size 30-only abit taller. The light handles really show against the dark bag. I almost wish the handles were done in a darker patina-but the bag itself is so detailed-I think he wanted to keep the handles simple. Love it!!:cloud9:
