I really appreciate your ideas , so thank you very much for sharing them. I am going to think about the fawn more. I love the bag that was debuted in the Fall pics with the chain strap more, I think, than what I have in my possession. I did get the 25% off though...but I wonder if when another 1k bag is released if I can just do an even exchange? I'll have to ask. Because the Caroline Dowel satchel that is set to debut in Sept in taupe is HIGH on my wish list...so maybe that's how that $$$ bag can find it's way home to me....We'll see. I have to ask DH what he thinks, too. Katev brought that up as another idea, that i didn't think of....He usually just says he loves all the bags I bring home. Thanks so much for your very valuable help and ideas that I will def. consider!!!:smile1:

Aw, Lynne, thanks! I am on the fence with our beloved Fawn bag , though. The loss of the chain strap is nagging at me more and more as I look at your siggy pic. ARGH!!! But regardless, than you for sharing in my excitement over these bags...You are an awesome tpf friend, for sure!!!:hugs:

I think I will. I don't have time to deal with personal attacks. There was nothing in my comment that was even close to an attack. I was simply blown away by the price. However, there is no way I will stay where I am not wanted. Hope you all enjoy your lovely Coach collections and best wishes.

I still do like the fawn; it's very beautiful in a subtle way.
The plum is stunning. I like it much more now that I've seen the mod shots. It's soooooo rich in color and class. What a perfect fall/winter bag. I love all the textures and details on it. I'm still baffled that it's only $458. :thinkin:
It seems a tad smaller than the other Kristin satchels, but I think you mentioned that earlier....I'd say for SURE keep the plum, and if you're not feelin' the love for the fawn so much, return it, and maybe you can get it in a couple months at outlet price! That's alot to spend if you're not totally in love with it, ya know?

But really, they're gorgeous and so are you! Great pics, my friend!

first off like everyone has said the plum is A+++

the strap on the fawn satchel is a deal breaker for me and i think you will be able to get it at the outlet later so i say exchange for another bag (or two!) that really makes your heart go pitter patter lol... and every SA i have had always offers to match PCE when you exchange a PCE purchase. maybe the register prompts it. anywho just my opinion! i know you will do what makes you purse-happy :-)

so glad you loved the plum one right away enjoy it!!!

OMG, OMG, OMG!! I am gladl I am sitting or I would fall down, LOL. That plum ostrich is so spectacular. I cannot believe it is only $458, seems like it would be $600+. What a happy accident.

Thanks for posting such great mod shots! You look amazing and I LOVE the shoes too! The plum satchel is still a must have for me.

I think I'm falling off the fence about the fawn satchel. While it's lovely and classy, I just don't see the wow factor I'd be hoping for at this price point. The Caroline dowel satchel you mentioned is also high on my wish list and that bag has so much more to offer than this fawn satchel in terms of "WOW!!!" for me. IMO, they don't even feel like they should be in the same price range.

The two satchels are beautiful.
The plum will be great for fall / winter, and your reveal has made me interested in it too! So I look forward to seeing the plum satchel and tote and the rest of the Kristin line when they come to the store.

You mentioned being undecided about the fawn, and I wanted to say that the color of the fawn really suits you. It looks very natural on you in the mod pix. You have to go with what feels right, though, so good luck on your decision.

Thanks, friend. We tpfers have to try and keep up with you and YOUR mod pics....Not an easy thing to do!!!!!!! I keep looking at your "Surf" and Legacy and "Sorbet" reveals, STILL trying to figure out how to apply my make up as beautifully as you do. I may just have to fly out to OK to get lessons from you!!!

Yes, plum is staying. Fawn I think is going back to be exchanged for either the Caroline croc satchel OR to exchange for the Sage fawn that is shown in the Fall release pics. As you know, I love Sage and I'd love to have 2 for winter/fall as I have for summer. I just feel less and less excited about that bag as I look at her. If she makes it to outlet, that would be great. I did get her for $750 though not 1k so that in itself is causing me to hold back a tad. I also took katev's advice and asked DH what he thinks of the bag, really. He says it's one of the classiest I have and very different so he's ok with my keeping it.

But just not feeling the love for her now, as much. And again, I don't feel badly exchanging or returning her since it was a "fluke" I ended up w/ her. After all, my SA thought it might be the bag in plum in a different color and that I'd like to at least see it and make up my mind. She knew I wasn't committed to it or anything....Thanks for your advice, which I knew would help me!!!

I KNOW! I couldn't believe the $458, either! BUT I do want to note again, as I did earlier, that it is made from the SPECTATOR (thinner) leather and not the elevated leather as we have seen in this bag that comes in navy and jade and sorbet, etc. for $698....So really it is a lot like the spring spectator totes material, with the ostrich vs. the croc. If that makes sense.
