I'm a 36 in Orans and a 36 in Extra, if that helps at all. IMO the Extra is VERY comfortable.
Hi! May i know do you have wide feet or normal?

I'm wearing 36 for oran shoes and 36 for colette loafer and thinking to get the extra sandal but most people said better to size up or half size up for more comfortable wear.

So i was thinking probably those who size up they have wide feet..?

I would say my feet are normal to narrow :) I don't find the Extras small to size at all though. In most shoes I am anywhere between a 36 and a 37, almost never smaller than that. I also think sandals like the Extra without a heel strap should fit reasonably snugly.

I love the bikini sandals. They're not flat but have a short stacked heel. I find them way more comfortable than all my flats. I try to snap up any new colour that gets released.

I have very sensitive feet and blister easily. Other sandals which I have had for years still cause me blisters but the bikinis never did and still don't.

If the white becomes available again, I'll be getting a back up pair.

I tried on 41.5 in Orans. They run small. I’m a US size 9. I owned the 39.5 and sold them. I should’ve exchanged and now I’m buying them in a different color and size.

My feet are relatively short but very wide (plus bunions seem to be forming lol), with a somewhat high arch or maybe just a thicker mid-foot area. Basically, I have chubby toddler feet - but as an adult :hrmm:.

So my sizing is a bit all over the place as my feet are a size 5.5/6 or 36 in length, but a 7.5/8 or 37/37.5 in width. I tend towards thong/t-strap sandals and suede as they're more forgiving. In order of most comfy to least:

1. Empire, 36
2. Beach (leather version of the Egerie), 37
3. Santorini, 37.5
4. Chypre, 36.5
5. Amore, 36 - but quite uncomfortable

I think we have twin feet. Making a note of these picks above, but since I’m lazy, I might just stick to Birkenstocks lol

It might be just me, but I find wedge heels on these shoes quite heavy

LOL we're a somewhat rare but indeed, very present species. I love my Birkenstocks as well! When the weather warms up here, they're my go-to shoes. I like that they have a "wide" option in addition to their already generous regular width.

I haven't looked into any of the H wedges as much as I also have ankles that tend to roll quite a bit unfortunately. (As I get older, I'd rather not take a tumble for the sake of cute shoes!)

I have wide feet and typically have blisters on an instep or sole, and across all my toes. Chypres worked really well for me due to their anatomical rubber soles and soft leather. I finally enjoy wearing sandals in summer :)
Are there any other sanders that can work well for such troubled feet as mine? I am a little skeptical about Extra Sandals - does their chain leather pattern give any blisters?

Fellow wide-footer here. I've tried the Extra sandals on and they do have a similar fit to Chypres, except the larger strap around the mid-foot is not adjustable (which is why it didn't work for me - too tight). Since the straps are both leather, I'm sure they'll stretch out a bit after some breaking in - whether or not this will cause blisters for you, I can't tell unfortunately.
Although recently, I saw that they've come out with more suede versions of the Extra - so they may be more malleable and forgiving with the breaking in.

I'd also recommend the Empire sandals (I know, not everyone's cup of tea with the kelly buckle) but they're very comfortable and there was basically no break-in needed. I also got the suede version, so I'm sure that helped. They appear to have a similar footbed as the Chypres.

I do not have any issues with Extra sandals. I am wearing my usual size.... (half a size up will make it wider, I've hardly noticed any difference in length).
The suede version is much softer than the leather version.
And to prevent any blisters (my feet tend to swell during hot summer days), I use the Compeed stick, very effective ;)

(I cannot compare with Chypre)

How about inboard sandals? I find them pretty comfortable. I am actually surprised i can spend a whole day in the city wearing them. The reason for it is the ribbon and leather barely touching the skin. They definitely run small though. I needed to exchange my original pair for whole size bigger one. Also, i have never seen them on anyone which is a bonus for me.
