I had to search high and low to find pictures and a review of the mini mini loll. I think I've only seen a couple of mod shots here and like one "what fits in my bag" video on youtube for it. Im excited to get mine in the mail! Hope it doesn't disappoint. I'm happy you like yours!

I just want to share for anyone on the fence... If you're contemplating the mini saffiano bucket, it's become my favorite bag! It is so carefree and fits a lot, but doesn't feel awkward like the large bucket on your hip- it does not scratch like the veg tanned... It's just so perfect!!
FYI- I've owned: Large veg tanned black/royal (sold eBay),mini black veg tanned, mini black lady, large saffiano tote, and this is the once I chose to keep!👍🏼 I'm ordering a lady saffiano too :)

Hi guys, I just snatched the last MG mini bucket in black/flamma on BG but I just read about all these terrible cancellations and miscommunication between BG's online store and its physical sales department after I placed the order. Did anyone purchase a mini bucket from BG recently (NOT pre-order) and how was your shopping experience? How long did it take for the bucket to arrive? Thanks so much in advance!

Definitely call the BG store...fifth floor handbags. They would be the ones to process your online order. All BG Mansur Gavriel orders ship from store. I had several fiascos with online orders (none went through!) and then resorted to calling and placing phone orders from salespeople.

So I'd call them and say I ordered the last MG mini bucket online last night and tell
them not to sell it?

I just chatted with a BG rep online and she said it's not necessary and even gave me the approximate arrival date. Should I trust her? Sorry guys I'm getting really really insecure about this (I REALLY WANT MY MINI BUCKET)

So it's long story how I ended up with this bag. I received my vege-tanned Lady in black two weeks ago and was really underwhelmed/disappointed with the entire look/feel of the vege-tanned leather (found it too stiff + I don't want my bag to scratch :( ), but found myself still lusting over MG bags -- in particular the mini bucket in calf because I had the chance to look at the calf leather IRL and fell in love. I also love camello, but unfortunately calf doesn't come in camello.

On Saturday I actually hunted down a mini bucket in blu calf and ordered it, but cancelled the order the next day because I had buyers' remorse -- am supposed to be on Ban Island.. but during the launch on Tuesday I decided screw it, I may never be able to find a camello/dolly if I don't get it during the launch and so I pulled the trigger (despite the ridiculous international shipping cost).. oops.

No regrets for now though, the colour combination is TDF. I'm hoping she softens with time (and never patinas..I love the light camel colour), but in the meantime I've got to find some leather conditioner for her before I bring her out with me!

Thanks for sharing your story! I feel exactly like you about the lady bag and I was also initially planning to get the bucket in cammello/dolly, but I didn't manage to get it during the last re-stock. Tell me if you are still loving it after using for a few weeks. I'm still considering whether I should get it. Worried that I'll feel the same like the lady bag. What do you do with your lady bag? Have you started using it and liking it more?

I don't know if I trust them online..I'm not kidding when I say that in January, I ordered a bucket in black/royal...it showed to be in stock. Then five days later, i received an email that it was cancelled. All the while, the online robot reps (as I call them) assured me the ship date was a week away...the date changed daily.

A week later, BG emailed me that they were unable to fulfill my order. I saw it available the following week and ordered online- again. Same exact thing happened!

It was frustrating. I complained on their Facebook page about being misled and the whole fiasco that happened twice, and they gave me a $100 gift card via email (only positive of the situation) then, I decided to call the store....

The sales associates in store even advised me not to order MG bags online as they sell out the moment they hit the shelves and that if your order MG bags online, it reflects store inventory and the item actually is taken off the shelf by one of them and shipped from the store, not a warehouse.

Thanks so much for sharing your experience! I'll call them the moment they open and tell the sales associate to take the bag off the shelf. Hopefully I can still get the bag since I put in the order online at midnight and no one would be in store to buy that mini bucket at that time.

We're like long lost twins -- both feel the same way about the Lady bag, and both want the exact same colour combination for the bucket bag :laugh:

Will definitely let you know! It's going to be awhile before I start using the bucket bag though -- am only going to start using it after I condition/protect it with chamberlain's milk, which is going to take another 2 weeks to arrive (because I had to get it shipped via international mail -- it isn't available in Singapore where I'm from!) Am hoping it will soften up after I condition it and over time, but I love the colour so much I feel I can deal with the stiffness, yknow? The stiffness also doesn't bother me as much as for the Lady -- the stiff flap for the Lady is what really bugs me :/ The mini bucket is also virtually weightless, which really really impressed me!

I haven't actually started using the Lady yet because I'm undecided if I want to sell it, but I might end up keeping it because strangely enough, when I had a look at the bag again a few days ago the stiffness actually didn't bother me as much as it used to. How are you getting along with your Lady?

I'm honestly getting super confused with BG. I just called the store and the MG sales said they don't have any of the mini buckets I ordered (Black/flamma) but when I called the BG online order rep she said the order is still processing and they haven't received any info saying that mini bucket in black/flamma is not available anymore... God BG really needs to get it together....

SO EXCITED!! just ordered the mini mini bucket in blush. can't wait to get it!! (also have the mini lady black/marina + mini cammello crossbody coming my way). i am officially content with my MG collection!! :love: will share them all once they all get here!! :graucho:
