i'm not totally sure about this but it's my 5th year of french so:
Louis Vuitton: Loo-ee Vee-tawn
Hermes: airmez....but you have to get the "air" part like in the back of your throat so it doesn't sound like "air" but...like..uh i dunno i can't really explain it. the "h" is silent because h's just aren't pronounced in french and the accent grave on the e gives it the "ez" sound or else the "es" at the end wouldn't be pronounced (unless the word following started with a vowel or h+vowel)

As a french girl, I would say to explain : Dah- mee- yeah. We do not pronounce the "r" and the "er" is like our "é". And "i" is definitly "ee", in fact, when we say the letter "i" we say it the same way you say your "e" (when we spell a word)....I hope this helps.
By the way, I am glad I found this forum last week, I am learning a lot...

As a French student (a student who is learning French as a third language) and a Louis Vuitton lover, it irks me terribly when people misprounounce Louis Vuitton and the collection names.

The common mispronounciation I hear is "Lewis Vitton"

How do you pronounce it?:suspiciou

Call 1-866-VUITTON for the correct pronunciation...

I say it like this...

Loo-ee Vui-tohn. It's not just Vee-tohn... there is most definitely a french "U" sound in there. The ending N in Vuitton is somewhat dropped, but after one understands the mechanics of speaking French, you end up hearing it. There's the AP French coming out in me... sorry :shame: (BTW, got a 105.8 in AP French last quarter! So proud... :D ).
