Long story ordered the coeur battant but didn’t receive a sample for it but did get one for the California dream but noticed that it doesn’t last long at all. I do like it though
Went to the store and tried on CB but just couldn’t deal with it...was too strong for me so swapped it out for CD but not sure if I want to keep it because it doesn’t last more than a few hours
On my skin CD lasts very long even if I put on a very small amount. However, the top/head note, which I absolutely love about CD, does not last very long.

I bought Coeur Battant last wednesday and I am in looooove with this fragrance!!!! Now I want a second one. I haven’t smelled Attrape-Reves. Is that a good match when you already have Coeur Battant?

I am a new fan of Coeur Battant too!

I have probably made a sum total of 4 fragrance purchases my whole life, but fell in love with Coeur Battant when I got a sample from my SA a couple months ago.

I had my husband smell a few samples and he liked CB but also Heures d'Absence, so with our anniversary coming up in a bit, I decided to splurge to get the travel sprays of both scents. The full engravable bottles are so gorgeous, but I love the portability of the travel sprays.
Today I am wearing Heures d'Absence:

With great excitement I met my UPS man to receive my On the Beach sample sent from CS.
But here's what I got. I love the Les Sable Roses. Ombre Nomade smells like some pete moss scotch

I want to order a full size bottle. But want to try on the beach first. (I really love California Dream and it doesn't give me a headache or allergy attack like most do)1618597181360171435594.jpg

I got a sample when picking up my Twist. I really prefer California Dream. It is warmer or softer, don’t know how to describe it. OTB is good and citrus-y, but it stings a bit, at least my nose.
TYFS this review hun. I’m waiting on samples to ship with my ombré Bob. Really love CD and can’t wait to compare your notes :)

lol Looks like one more round of samples MM. hope you get to try it soon!

Hello! On a whim I bid for refills of Appogee on eBay, not realising that they only work with the travel spray (I think). Am I wrong? Is there a work around with the refills? I maaaaay be tempted to get On The Beach travel set to get the travel spray but love to know what I can do. Thanks in advance!

I love the flacons for On the beach and California Dreaming but both fragrances got rather mixed / bad reviews on youtube. Now I am not sure if I should get any of them. It sounds like they are both not my cup of tea as they are more unisex than feminine scents. Unfortunately I can´t get my hands on samples.
My faves so far are Le jour se leve, Mille Feux and Attrape-reves :) .

OMG. Finally had a relaxed time at the LV perfume counter for a relaxed perfume appreciation moment. Firstly, I get why certain fragrances get mentioned a lot her. Cactus Garden is amazing. I loved it from the first release though my teen daughter found it had the 'fly spray' notes which my husband also detects easily in scents. However, within an hour it really settled on my skin nicely and six hours later, it's just utterly divine. Sadly no samples so I'll have to find some online to see if my husband likes it or not. I probably would only buy a full bottle of something he tolerates. After all, he has to smell it too and I hate some of his fragrances (usually those he chose).

I fell in lust with On The Beach on my last visit and once again, it really captures me. Very sexy. That's all I can describe it as. No samples so again, I'll source a sample online. My SA was kind enough to give us whatever she had in stock of samples so I'll enjoy those each day to see if any of those really grab me. I agree that Coeur Battant and Attrape-Rêves are both beautiful. Truly, only a handful of the scents were a 'no' from me, and even then not a Gawd NOOOOO! California Dream was lovely too. Love to have them all!

Initially, I did not like Coeur Battant - it had a plastic smell on me. While picking up an order this week, I smelled it again and now absolutely love it. It has a sweet deep scent, and feels like a different scent of Cactus Garden. Coeur will be my next perfume choice.

I can't wait to get a sample of Coeur and see how it settles on my skin. It's probably my first pick now if I were to buy a full bottle or travel set. So interesting how fragrance differs from person to person, and even seasons!

Yesterday was the Rose des Vents trial and I have mixed feelings. The initial spray and first few hours didn't impress. I couldn't pick up any sort of rose. It may have been contaminated by the previous spray of L'Immensité which I washed off really well. I'll try it again another day but I didn't get a real hit of rose until about the end of the day.

As for L'Immensité, I know it's a Men's scent but I find most fairly unisex. This however really was masculine once it settled so not for me.

Today I've sprayed on Matière Noire and it didn't give me an immediate 'wow' response but it's settled on my skin nicely and it's pleasant to wear. I wouldn't be upset if someone bought this for me, but it's not the one that I want to shell out the coins for a full bottle for.
