Went into the Loewe store in Bond Street to just look at the new featherlight and left with it! The leather is just sumptuous.
The red online looks really bright but can say in real life there’s much more depth to the colour and it’s a lovely shade. I have the mini hobo in ‘crimson’ though and felt they were probably too similar, so went for the black puzzle.
Also tried it with the black donut chain which I didn’t expect to like, but it’s nice as an accessory and shoulder strap - where the black leather is so glossy and with the gold hardware it turned it more into a day-to-evening shoulder bag.
Will try to take a pic with the puzzle family soon (small tan original puzzle, medium stone blue original puzzle, mini Calcifer Studio Ghiblu puzzle)

would love to hear how the featherlight leather compares to the satin calfskin on your calci. does it feel like it is too delicate that it will scratch easily?

Good question, it does feel really different. The satin calfskin feels really solid still, and I’ve definitely scratched it a little despite hardly any wear, but I feel it does buff out and isn’t extremely noticeable unless you look for it. It’s much more solid leather.
The featherlight is extremely soft, smooshy and glossy. It’s a dream to touch. I think if it gets scratched or anything, it would be sooo much easier to rub out any marks. I’ve only worn it once so far so it’s hard to tell, but though it’s soft, I don’t think it seems like delicate leather like my Lady Dior or Chanel. Seems much more hardy.

So curious how it holds up. I’m getting either the featherlight or an edge in a color I’m obsessed with in about a month and want to make the best choice. I have originals in classic and grained calfskin and they wear so well

I been looking at the small Puzzle bag for years and don’t own one. Loved the Sand & Mink colorway but missed out on it since I was a bit late to the party. 😢
I tried on the Loewe 10th anniversary Featherlight Puzzle Bag at Loewe Rodeo and Wynn, Las Vegas. It’s limited edition, buttery soft, slouchy and not too big / not too small. Featherlight is gorgeous with the Lambskin inside & out and they finally fixed the hardware so it swivels. I am very tempted to get this featherlight in Pecan but fell in love with the Shell Grey color from the runway pics.
Should I wait for Loewe to come out with featherlight in Shell Grey or pull the trigger on Pecan, especially if I can get it now at a 15% off discount as a first time Bergdorf Goodman or Neiman Marcus shopper?

I’ve taken it out two days now, once to London for work and to a gig last night - no marks or anything on it at all and I don’t baby bags!
Apparently it’s the same/similar leather to the squeeze, so might be worth looking at wear & tear stories on those (if there are any).
I’m very happy with it so far! Already slouching and feels so nice 😊

Oh I didn’t know it was squeeze leather, thank you. Did they say anything about not getting rain on it?

Ah I didn't know the grey featherlight puzzle in the runway pics is Shell Grey. That's a bummer personally cause I was hoping it would be Pearl Grey! Since the featherlight puzzle is so expensive I would wait for the grey to come out and compare it with the pecan and decide which one has my heart.

It’s what the SA told me when I was asking about wear, he said he checks in with people who bought the squeeze, but no one’s had any issues - hopefully he’s right! He said nothing about rain, but as it’s a kind of shiny, glossy leather and I got the black I personally wouldn’t have worried about it anyway. However on a lighter colour I’m not sure!

Oh, I don’t know if it’s definitely Shell Grey and not Pearl Grey. The Instagram pic looked more like Shell Grey to me but it could’ve looked lighter from super blown out flash. Really love how luxurious the featherlight soft felt. So I need to see Pecan color in person to decide. Thank you, coolmelondew!

From Instagram it looks like the featherlight could be part of FW25 at least. Although all the smalls in the pictures look like croc. Looks like there are larger sizes too. Maybe it is an anniversary thing but they are having an anniversary year and then it's gone or maybe not. There is also a tri colour

I didnt end up getting the featherlight for my birthday because I still can't decide on the right colour and I can't see them in person. I've gone back and forth on all the colours. I thought I made a decision on dark butter after deciding pecan seems too much like tan and I have another tan bag. I'd seen some pictures etc where I really liked the colour until I saw an influencer gifted posts and I really didn't like the colour. I don't know if it was how they styled it or the lighting/filters but I'm thinking if that's how the colour really looks in person I won't love it it seemed a bit too light or a bit too yellow to work. I had originally discounted the burnt red because it seemed too bright on the website but in other photos it looks a lot darker or richer which I like a lot.

Im curious about the burnt red as well. It seems bright online but in other photos it looked like a deeper red.
