Bzw: Does somebody know when Loewe stopped the feet on their hammock bags? I got two hammocks (preowned, as I wanted the extra feet for bottom protection) and ask myself why did they remove is? My metal feet are scratched, so this is a big plus in my eyes.

The ones with feet are the medium hammocks and some older versions (one clear example was this reviewer's Hammock https://fairlycurated.com/blog/2017/4/26/loewe-hammock-bag-review)

They've since only produce small (standard) size without the feet. That being said, I use mine (without feet) like crazy and the bottom still looks pristine. I feel like having the metal feet almost warrant having scratches since the material is more prone to that? I.e. y large puzzle with feet had lots of scratches on that part vs. small puzzle without feet looked flawless, even without it

I didn't think I’d like the mellow calfskin compact hammock as much as I do, my SA had to talk me into it and I’m glad she did. The leather is soft feeling and pliable like the smooth calfskin, visually finished similar to a satin calf but without the stiffness of the satin’s waxy top layer. The leather is backed with the canvas where you can see the weave thru the leather panels.

The diamond shape when the hammock is pulled together is what appealed about all the other hammocks but with the canvas wings it seems like a satchel/cross-body carry only. The diamond shape is also different than other hammocks - see comparison to the Suna Fujita panda. I like that it (and the Matsumoto hammock) are different adaptations of the hammock, that it’s an effective/secure crossbody, and that the leather feels so nice.

Do you use a bag organiser? I have this same bag and want to get an organiser but I am not sure whether the ones for compact hammock will work for the this bag with the canvas wing (given the slight shape difference)? Any advice?

While I have bag organisers for other Loewe I don't for the hammock. I just organize with small flat zip pouches that aren't much more than maybe passport size or card holders. I find it keeps everything sort of flexible so you can bounce between open hammock or the diamond shape but I also don't pack a lot into it.

Has anyone seen the Hammock Slice? I couldn’t find any discussion about it here or anywhere on the internet really.

Is it new? I’m quite into it!

I liked the Compact Hammock but felt it was a bit too bulky crossbody, this seems like the perfect size.

I'm really contemplating getting it in black. What's holding me back is the GHW. If it had silver would've bought it at first sight. I have the mini hammock and LOVE it, but this looks perfect for a crossbody

I hope they come out with more options! I’d love a grained calfskin. I’m surprised it’s priced at $250 more than the compact size.

I wanted a mini hammock for so long but ultimately decided against it due to lack of closure and I prefer some type of closure for security. The Slice has a magnetic closure! They don’t seem to have the mini anymore online.

Has anyone heard anything about Loewe phasing out the small size hammock? A NYC SA told me that they've been getting less colors for it vs the compact and that they may be discontinuing the small. I've been wanting one for a while, so if this is true it makes me want to pull the trigger on one sooner than later!
