Thank you for the information. I am leaning towards the angora or pearl gray in the regular size. My coupon code expires at the end of the month for BG and NM. I want the new version and of course those colors are not available yet. I love the look of the mini. Just concerned about space. I keep waffling back and forth.
I have the angora and my best friend has the pearl grey. While I love both colors, I would go for the grey in the regular size. Mine is in the mini size so there’s less surface area and edge coating but I still feel like I need to be more careful with it.
Does the large fit a laptop? I too am considering the large flamenco as a work bag, but I need it to fit a MacBook 13”! The measurements on the website seem to suggest it does, but I don’t want it to lose its slouchy look too much with a laptop inside, not sure if anybody has experience?
It fits my Macbook Pro 14" so the Macbook 13" shouldn't be a problem. It doesn't lose its shape entirely but it gets really close to the magnetic closure so it will pop open every now and then. Still has space for quite a few items beyond the laptop but it does get a little heavy when fully loaded (not because of the bag's own weight, it's super light).
Ahh fair enough. Is the outline of the laptop obvious through the leather of the bag?
The weights are listed on the Loewe website. I find the bag heavy…it’s an all leather bag. If weight is a consideration I would stick with longchamp, faur Le page or goyard (as a luxury option).
I have and only use the jacquard strap with my regular size flamenco. Mine is in the vintage khaki and there wasn’t a matching strap for that color either so I ended up getting it in the avocado or Rosemary (I honestly don’t know which color it is). Even though there is a color difference, it still looks great, IMO, and have not once regretted it. For me, I am not interested in the donut chain, although they are gorgeous, simply because I feel like it would hurt my shoulder. GL deciding.
I have both but pictures will need to wait till I’m back home in March if you can! Both the large and extra large can fit a MBP14 but I think it may be difficult fitting that plus all an infant needs. Personally I think the leather large that I have is pretty lightweight but the XL can feel a bit heavier (it could also be because our two XLs are jacquard and mohair, not leather).
