The bag has arrived but the chain won’t be here for another few days. But that’s ok because I have a longer gold Gucci chain I can use in the interim.

The color has just enough “dustiness” in it that it will work well with my wardrobe so this flamenco is a keeper. Third time is a charm as far as flamenco purchases go for me.

That looks just like my Flamenco in "Atlantic Blue," from a few years ago. It's like a pair of jeans, it just goes with everything. I have the donut chain and use it often. Sometimes I just leave the long strap tucked in the bag instead of removing it to add the chain. It fits right next to the long strap on the gold loops, no problem.

Congrats to your beautiful mini Flamenco! For me the Flamenco in a blue color is perfect! I have it in Onyx and it‘s my favorite color of all my bags. Enyoy it!

I do agree with others who are disappointed that the new leather strap is shorter than previous iterations. It's really unusable as a cross-body for me. The only way it works cross body is if I attach the ends of the strap into the ends of the knots which is not my preference but is at least an option if I am really wanting to wear it cross body.

That is a stunning shade of blue.

OMG I’m doomed as I wasn’t able to settle on a colour until I saw this :facepalm:

Yes, the strap is very short. From time to time I wear it wirh the donut chain. Not that perfect, but it‘s an option.

Are there mini flamencos that only come with the donut chain? I’ve seen some mini ones on preloved sites that only come with a chain strap and no leather strap.

For those of you with the donut chain, is it worth getting a flamenco that only comes with a chain or is the leather strap worthwhile? TIA

Yes there are..I only rem the black, orange and beige coming with just the donut chain. I’d rather get that than the one with the leather strap. The leather strap is very short and thin. Might be too short for crossbody wear if you’re taller.

Thank you! That’s really helpful. Yes, the ones I saw were black and orange. I am taller, about 5’9. I will consider the black one then! I was worried it wouldn’t be as useful without the leather strap.

Get the black one! And consider springing for a separate strap. Loewe makes lots of nice comfortable ones that will give it a more casual look. I bought the black mini too but sadly when I was ready to get one, the one with the gold chain was sold out where I am.
