If anyone is in the market for a Small Hop in Dark Praline, Moda Operandi has three left at $3300!

I bought one and returned it because the leather around the opening was a bit too puckered. I did not take photos before I returned it. I ordered a second and kept it because the puckering wasn't as noticeable, and I think it might relax over time. (The first one might relax over time as well.) I think the puckering was caused by the very strong magnet, which is interesting because the magnets on other Hops have been too weak. The flap on both Dark Praline Small Hops completely covered the opening, which I appreciate. The bags felt very secure.

MO has various 10% off opportunities, at least on the US website, including 10New for a first purchase. (I have no affiliation with them, but have been VERY happy with my experiences.) I also purchased their one remaining Rosewood Small Hop and love it and have used 10TEXT for 10% off for subscribing to texts and 10APP for a first app purchase. I would love another coupon, so if you have one, will you share, please? :)

In case this helps someone, I am including a review of my experience with MO: As I stated above, I am very happy with my experience shopping there and look forward to my next purchase. I paid for express shipping, and they shipped the same day each time even though once the item was purchased after the published cutoff time. The packaging and presentation were exceptional! They use lovely lavender tissue paper and receipt envelopes. I would not hesitate to purchase a gift from them. The refund on the first Dark Praline Hop I ordered was a little slow, but not enough to dissuade me from ordering from them again. The customer service I received the one time I called them (about the first Hop) was excellent and accurate, and I received a survey about my experience with that CSR. Before purchasing, I confirmed with Bottega Veneta customer service that MO is an authorized BV retailer. I have purchased BV only directly or through authorized retailers.

As an FYI, one of the three Small Hop bags I purchased from MO did not have a security/return tag on it. I include this information as a heads up in case you purchase and decide to return. When I called customer service, I let them know the bag did not have a security/return tag on it, and the rep noted my account. I assume most of their items will have a security/return tag. Two of the three Hops had a security/return tag fastened loosely around the handle. All of the Hops included the BV dustbag and booklet and were in pristine brand new condition.

I will try to post pictures of my Small Hop family later this week (I also have a black one from 24S), but I wanted to let you all know about the great deal on the Dark Praline Small Hop! With an additional 10% off coupon, the Dark Praline Small Hop would cost $2970 USD before tax! 😃

I don’t baby mine at all. I have the small. The calfskin makes it much more durable. I have the Andiamo as well and very much baby that bc of the lambskin, I can be way more carefree with my hop
So glad to hear this. I'm not super hard on my bags but I do like them to hold up well, especially when we are paying this much

Pro: it's very large and can hold alot. I'm actually using mine for a quick overnight beach getaway and put my laptop/charger, small toiletry bag, makeup bag, bikini, cover up, and nightgown into it.

Con: it's very large and can look ridiculously large on some people (myself included, I just don't care)

I love the thick strap and when traveling, I set it on top of a wheeled carryon and the strap stays on the handle better then the straps/handles than my LV on the go which i also travel with frequently.

The opening on the small hop notoriously challenging to get into but this is better on the large though the design still harder than a bag that's wide open at top like on the go or a neverfull. The top also doesn't zip closed (it has one small magnet) which some may view as a con, but neither of these things bothers me personally.

I have the chamomile color which is a pale yellow and I love it!

Hi! Gorgeous bag. Just received the large Hop in Fondant and wondering if I should’ve went lighter. How is the staining on this bag? Do you find it’s resistant (as much as can be for calfskin!) and are you careful with the handle? I’m so torn between fondant/sterling/travertine. :/

I don't have any stains on my bag but I am pretty cautious with my stuff. That being said, I have used it for travel numerous times including on airplanes as a carry on under seat, tossed into trunk of car, stuffed to the gills, and its held up well.

Color is a personal preference. I happen to love pastels and get alot of use out of them, but also live in a climate where its like summer year-round. Don't think you can go wrong with this bag, even after more then a year of use, I love mine!

Thanks for coming back to me! I love all the colours but chose fondant because I’ll use it for toddler stuff and plus, it rains quite a bit in England. This is why I rarely buy suede either. :( Love your colour though, gorgeous.
