I just bought the Clipa - love it. I was tired of the cheap purse hangers all over and didn't know that "nice ones" even existed. Now I think I will need to get the Hookup as well. But for all who are wondering, the Clip works great and they had SUPER fast shipping too.

thanks for the info! I really need one that goes on bathroom doors, so tired of slinging a bag around my neck! I like the idea of having it hanging on the bag, seems easy to get to. Off to get a hookup. Now the question is, what color?

I'm a Clipa girl and love it. It was less than half the price of the Hook Up ($19 vs. $45) and it does alot more. I use it as a bangle, mix it up with my other silver bracelets and it looks great. It's very sturdy and won't wobble on a tabletop but my favorite thing is that I need only one hand to use it! I have a baby and can't tell you how many times I've only hand one free. Enjoy whatever you get!

OMG! I too have both Clipa and Hookup. I love both, but to be honest when I carry my 'bring it all' bag I feel more comfortable with the Clipa. Hookup twists open and Clipa is spring loaded, but I like the snap it makes when you pull it off the table. It just slides back down your strap. We recently went to the amusement park with my nephews and we were able to clip my bag, a backpack and both of my sister's purses on the one Clipa! I agree I love the heart shape of my Hookup, but ease of use and practicality go to my Clipa. I have it in Maya and Sienna.

I got my Sienna Clipa for free - they have a facebook page and run contest all the time.

What a great thread! The Hookup looks cute but I have an LV bag for my everyday purse and my brushed gold Clipa matches it perfectly! I use it daily. Like MJA I do like how my Clipa goes right onto my bag every time and it's very well made. The pads are clear, which is also cool. Hookup looks like it's very high quality also. Love that they're coming out with lux purse hangers now!

I love my Clipa. You use it as a bracelet as well - it's a nice accessory for the handbag - I get compliments on it all the time. Great price too - I gave them to co-workers as Christmas gifts,

I just got my hookup today. Very fast shipping! I love this one! It's lightweight, pretty, looks good on the bag and seems like it's very well made. I tried it on two different types of bags. The hobo is filled and very heavy and it held well. The bal didn't have anything in it but it held just as well. I'm very happy with this one! I would still try the clipa in silver maybe, but this one does the job!

-redsakter: Your pics of your hookup are beautiful! My only gripe with the Clipa is how it hooks the purse inboard of the hook...if that makes any sense. I like how the hookup hook curves out from the table.

^I like both purse hooks a lot.

The Hookup, though, is pretty expensive for a purse hook in my opinion. The Clipa is more affordable, but I am with bABy Steffy--it would seem too much trouble to hook the bag from inside (if that makes sense) rather than just hooking it up outside like The Hookup does.

I have the Clipa in polished hematite (?) and it matches the gunmetal hardware on my deep turquoise RM Nikki :) It hangs well on tables as well as on the end of my baby stroller!
