Got this today. I don’t have anything red but really liked the red, white and blue of a couple of silks this season. I was going to get La Source de Pegase but there are other CWs I like better in that one and the one I decided on has the same colors but different picture. Plus, this is the only CW I like of The Three Graces. I love the bottom and right bottom design elements. But, the whole thing is beautiful and sweet. This is CW 04
I was looking for a red/white/blue scarf and this is perfect! I love everything Alice Shirley designs and already purchased the 140 cashmere/silk in the brown and cream colorway! Gorgeous, too!

I have a question... On the Hermes web site the red in this colorway looks fire-engine red. In your photos the red looks to be more of a burnt-orange, at least on my monitor. I take it your photos are a more accurate depiction of the colors?

I'm considering the Three Graces version show in the from-Instagram photo from this TPF page:

Again on the Hermes web site it looks fire-engine red (or it did, I think it's sold out at the moment). Does anyone know whether the red in this CW also more of a burnt-orange?

Looking forward to your mod shots as this is a cw I am considering. If possible, can you show with a turquoise top?
I love that the letters of Hermes paris are in feather shapes. This is the kind of detail that makes H special.

I love the design of the title and Hermes-Paris mark! I saved just those screenshots for my H as art photo file!
I also love the feathered Hermès-Paris mark on this one... I wish the light would have been better, but the box was sitting on my doorstep at 4pm and it was a gloomy, rainy day. I opened a window and did the best I could

The details on the feathers is wonderful!! I look forward to your modeling pictures.:flowers:
Yes... amazing graphic details typical of the artistry of Aline Honoré

Thank you so much... And, guess what? I took pics with a turquoise top! I just wish to try it later on a white blouse and on a mocha one. The feathered letters are wonderful... Such a special detail

Thanks for being so generous with your pictures, fifi! I echo Julide in awaiting your mod shots with bated breath!
My pleasure, Joanna... I have some pics, although it was gloomy and dark, so I hurried as it got dark fast!

So lovely! I really like this design but will have to see the cws in person to decide on which.

just a question must have been asked many times, how did you tie the knot of the second and third photo?

Thank you and all others so much for posting! Hm, i am thinking of the cw11, thé rose vif. But not sure if it’s too bright in person. Will see if I end up with one next month.

I totally agree with you. In the pictures it looks warmer than what it looks like in person. It seems that artificial light, since it has a yellowish tinge, makes this red warmer than what it’s like under natural light. It definitely is red in person.
I took pictures in my car with some sunshine and you can see the red better. I also took a closeup of some of the red next to the zipper on my husband’s Ohio State sweatshirt which is ‘Scarlett red.’
The other is a picture of the scarf next to my daughters French school uniform and you can see the scarf is a warmer red than the shirt. I would think that most of the reds in this seasons silks will take on this warming under artificial light but are more red in person under natural light.

Love this colorway even though I already purchased the pink background!
I love how the feathers stand out in this CW as well as the wide variety of colors in the feathers. Also, I wanted something that would have black, which is a color sorely missing in this collection. This CW has dark enough spots that could pass for black and this was a positive for me. But, I don’t know how I feel about so much white. It’ll be great in summer, no doubt, but I do love the pink and orange CWs and wish to see them IRL... I may still wish to exchange this one for either one of those two... or the yellow.

Very thorough scarfie! Very pretty scarf!
Haha! Thorough I am... The design is gorgeous

My pleasure... Thanks so much. I am also considering the pink as I am not 100 convinced about this one.
Those knots are actually very simple to tie.
For the second knot you need a chaine d’ancre or buckle-style scarf ring. You fold the scarf once to make a wide rectangle and drape over shoulders with all four points facing forward and down over your chest. Then you insert every single point ip through the openings of the scarf ring, two points to each opening, and fluff out
For the third knot you hold the scarf completely open in front of you and holding both top corners you make loose accordion or bellows folds all the way down until the scarf looks like a long, fluted tube. Then, you insert the silk tube through a bolduc or plain round scarf ring until the ring is in the center. You then take the two upper points like a bib and tie to back of your neck. The rest of the huge swath of fabric will be draped down in front of you. Then, you take the bottom two points hanging down and loop them to make a bow.

That turquoise in there pops beautifully. And I love the whispy feathers on the outer parts.
The turquoise is truly amazing as are all the feather details
