Hi all. This is Patchwok Horse CSGM in CW17 which I brought home almost 2 weeks ago. And have not worn it yet, which is very unusual for me, as I tend to wear new scarves the next day after purchase. I found it so gorgeous in the boutique, but at home under daylight, I find it too bright and vibrant on me. So, unfortunately on Friday, I will go and exchange it. View attachment 4664436

Welcome, your avatar.
Shame Patchwork Horse GM didn't work but hope it won't be too long before you find the perfect shawl.

It does look lovely on you. I have the same CW, posted here about a week ago, and I do love it. It brightens up a monotone outfit (which I wear a lot). But you need to feel comfortable and happy, especially with such a visible item. Perhaps another CW?

Thank you. I also have CW 24 which I love so much. Therefore, I "needed" another cw of this fantastic design. Now I believe that I decided too emotional and quick.
On which page nr are your photos? I would love to see.

It's page 178, posting # 2666. I also have CW 21, so we're alike in loving the design. Also looking at CW 20, but dare I get THREE of the same design?! Thanks for posting how you feel about the orange CW. If you wear a different color tops, maybe the multi colored orange CW is not right for you. I mostly wear navy or black tops.

Yours looks so lovely. I mainly wear beige, nude and grey shades of tops. Hardly darker colors. I agree that it looks way better with navy and black.

Got this little beauty delivered to my office today and wore an outfit to match because I knew I’d be putting her on ASAP! I definitely am off to ban island for now because I’m in Halzan-saving mode, but I just couldn’t resist this shawl!
@laurenad, of course you couldn't resist that pink Cosmographia shawl! It is an entire, very complex, fascinating story of wild animals, erupting volcano, perilous travels by sea and by camel, and even mountain-climbing - all in a single shawl. Only Kluska appears to be in a safe position, fast asleep, high above the swirling waves and commotion around him. One could write an entire novel based upon the images in this wonderfully illustrated shawl. I just love this one, and it is clear you do, too.

One is Kawa Ora and the other is Cosmographia, both are 140cm. I’m actually wearing the Kawa Ora today.
Looks beautiful. I love both those designs, good choices. Congratulations!!

It is gorgeous! Looks like you and Foxy trini are twins on the CU CGSM.

I agree, it is a gorgeous piece with a complex story! I actually became attracted to it because of the unicorn in the center, reminds me so much of the Unicorn in Captivity from the Unicorn Tapestries.
