Yes, looks like it, but the lighter blue background isn’t monocoloured and no green undertones. Regret newbie’s mistake I didn’t take a pic of the lable and played with it a bit more. I hardly dare to touch the scarves when they are displayed by SAs, because I always want to buy pristine scarves and I’m so afraid to try them on...I feel so clumsy.
I understand. Your picture was great. It looks very pretty. Thank you.

Thank you @papertiger for your support and kind words. I’ve never had anything larger than a 90...so this is a whole new world to me! I must admit, I was getting nonchalant with ways to wear a 90 so I’m looking forward to playing around with this format. Do you have a favourite knot?

The border circles are so gobsmackingly gorgeous that they are impossible to resist. I didn’t even need to look at the entire scarf before I decided it was coming home with me, nor did I request to see other CWs. Good luck resisting  Once you know the mailing address for the cheques, let me know so I can send mine too :heart:

I often just fold in a big triangle and wear like a CSGM, point to the front and bring the points round. I you're wearing a coat and get a bit trapped under the collar it will keep the scarf in place.

Great for an evening shawl or bolero, I suppose that's my favourite. Unlike the Claire de Lune, you can tie to the front if you need hands free. I have no idea how I'd keep the circular scarf on worn as a cape (unless with cape clips).

Look at the how to scarf tying guides in the ref library.

Is the silk absolutely flat or can you see little tiny ridges like most 90s?

I’m not entirely sure what you mean by little ridges but if it is what I think you mean, then yes, you can see the tiny ridges.

Thank you for the tips above! I’m already trawling through how-to past threads for advice on folding and knotting! Looking forward to having enough material to wear in the first style you describe!

I never thought about wearing it as a cape/shawl...I will have to see if I can make that work for me once winter is over. Whilst you’re pondering how to secure CdL as a cape, I’m here trying to work out if it’s possible to frame...and if so, if I have an available wall.

Quick question - Is twill usually this ‘lightweight’ when in a 140 format or is this because it is in a washed design?

the twill lave is more substantial but they haven’t seemed to produce any for the past few seasons. It’s usually used for the 140 silks in the fall/winter collection. The Savana Dance is very light but does not seem as prone to wrinkling as the usual “summer silk”. I’ve worn my Savana Dance twice so far and no wrinkles yet.

Spotted mod shot of the 20cm Bride de Gala on the main page of the website.

Nobody would wear a scarf like that. She must have had a rough night out and doesn’t know it got stuck in her earring.
Little scarves worn as earrings must be the thing for spring. I spotted this on the Ferragamo web site  :

This is nuts. :wtf:

Also just to add to @papertiger’s great advice- if you utilize a small scarf ring in the BACK, it will also keep your scarf in place. Also, 140 silks are fantastic in bias fold and worn just draping the shoulders in front.

I have been promising this for quite a long time, but the long-term battle with illness will never be over and I have been finding concentration difficult. Here is my Scarf Profile post about Plumes en Fête. I still have to add in more photos, but will do that as I start to wear it.

Here’s just one modelling photo:

Mods: please do not remove this post. My blog is not, and never will be, monetised in any way. It is just something I write to keep me busy as I am bedridden with illness! I would like to help people on this forum with their choice of scarves.

I just want you to know that your posts and blog are very helpful for me! I order almost all of my scarves from the website because in this day and age, I can't be bothered to spend the time to shop at a physical store. Thank you for making it easy for people like myself.

Just arrived this afternoon: Plumes en Fête CW1. I tied some knots and took some modeling pics which I will try to post after dinner this evening

Very pretty!! I haven’t been able to see this colorway irl and am wondering if the border on this lovely is the same color as the border on the noir colorway of Index Palmarum? The photos on Hermes makes this #01 border looks so......off putting a little? blue? Lavender? The border color is the only thing holding me back......I do love the chocolate colorway too.

Lovely scarf, lovely on you and great blog post. I appreciate all the ties you showed. This is a beautiful scarf, one I wasn’t planning on, but your photos show the lavender and I’m always on the lookout for purple! You are very generous with your time in spite of illness, thank you.
