I need to save, so I'm going on the Friskies cat food diet. The dry nuggets (more economical), not the juicy kind in cans. If anyone wants to go in on it with me, we can get a good deal buying in bulk from Costco. :p

You can choose your own flavors!!
Put some gravy on it and you'll never know the difference from meatloaf.

Just so I'm not missing anything, is it the bright colors that sell out first? You're talking to a bone fide brown lover here, so what do I know?

Most women like 'straight' colours and neutrals. Pink (without a yellow base) purple, all kinds of blues, taupes, white, monochrome, mid-tone red or dark red and H-orange. The all-tones of pinks or blues scarves do very well because people understand what they can wear them with and what they can't. They're also the safest bets for buying scarf gifts as people know their mother like say pink or their sister likes blue. Most people will also wear say purple and blue but not purple and red which is curious as we all know purple is to red as it is to blue.

There is a tend atm in high-end and on the high street for mixing cool tones with warm tones, pastels with brights. This is OK if they're separate clothing on a rail as each will gravitate towards their favoured choice. On a scarf (as this week's SoTD theme will show) people want harmony and ease with their colouring and existing wardrobes. Obviously H have to try new things too as I'm sure we wouldn't just keep buying the same things season after season.

There are also colour myths especially around green, yellow and grey. Truth is most people can wear any colour, it's just finding the right vibrancy, hue, tint or shade. Another brown lover here, I'm looking at pictures of La Maison Des Oiseaux Parleurs cw 8 with

I notice the prints and to my eye they have a very 50's vibe, loose, sketchy and quickly drawn, impressionistic (without being solemn like impressionist painting). . it's like Clerc (he did Orchestra of years ago, a true classic) was let loose on Coney Island (an iconic NY theme park of ferris wheels, etc.). for an utterly frivolous, fun afternoon. To my eye there's also a sketchy Picasso-esque flavor to these ice-cream colored scarves, there's no realism whatsoever. (Not a complaint). These scarves are the dreams of an escapist.

Again, not a complaint, just an obs. I like them. I will have several I'm sure in a few month's time (if not weeks!).

Totally, very 1950s and seems very French. Do we think it's another Filipe Jardim or Jeff Fisher?
