Thank you, cavalla!! :flowers: I feel like I waited forever for it. I was pestering my boutique for months, and they had me down for one. I ordered from the website as soon as I saw it, and picked it up at the boutique. Wouldn’t you know, they’ve had them there, but nobody called me. I’m thrilled to have the shawl now, but my feelings are kind of hurt that they forgot about me. :confused1: Anyway, it’s finally mine!! :yahoo:

What a bummer that they treat their customers like that! But that only shows that it's meant to be yours. It finds its way to you no matter what. And it looks gorgeous on you!

Thank you so much cavalla. :flowers: The SAs in my boutique are really all very nice. They took my request just before the holidays, so I’m sure they were super busy. I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt, but they were wondering why I purchased it online since they have them there. Nobody called me, as I requested, and I pestered them relentlessly for the past several months. Oh well!! I have it now. :girlsigh:

Is this officially from the men's collection? Many [though not all] of the men's scarves are made in Italy. If not, it is possible a few special production women's scarves are too. These jacquards are not the standard 90s. I actually have a men's cotton handkerchief bought directly from H that was made in Switzerland...talk about a surprise.
My pareos are made in Italy. Some men's scarves are also made in Italy.

Yes another example of a fake detection rule that only works 60 percent of the time
There have been scarves made in Italy , Bangladesh, Nepal , Scotland , England to name a few

Whoa. TIL!

This might be a men's scarf. I find myself drawn to the men's selections quite often.

I was really drawn to and hoped to see the C'Est La Fete and Caducee shibori in person, but my local store didn't get any of those in... I guess it's just as well, given that I did some damage to my clothing budget this season and binged on Hermes scarves instead of buying a new suit

... Now I'll see myself out and just head over to the thread about wearing scarves as clothing

Yes- it’s the exceptional piece
It’s 100%silk (not cashmere) with silk embroidery and its a dream - I’ll take close up shots when I get back from my trips, later this week- I had to ship it, the box was too big to travel with
Comes in a giant box -
Lala took a few close ups of the details a few pages back when she saw it at the boutique

Gorgeous!!!
What is the exact name of this scarf als how much is it?

My new Samourais! Finally settled on CW01. Such a difficult decision. Thanks to all who posted photos of the Samourais - very helpful.

The bright clear coloring suits you so well. Congratulations. It's lovely!

This looks great on you! And this also gives me an idea on how to wear scarves with printed shirts!! Thank you!!:flowers:
I love to wear printed shirts with scarves. I basically pretend the dominant color turns the entire shirt into a solid of that color and coordinate from there.
Magnificent!

It's beautiful!

Stunning! I want it now!!

@FugitiveRouge I love this scarf - congratulations. I agree, I haven't seen this much on the forums!

I actually called my store and will be picking up the pink one when they get it in store. I am also contemplating the black one. It looks beautiful on you.

Thank you! Everyone is so nice here!

Coconuts40, would you post model shots of the pink when you get it? I was tempted by the pictures online, but didn't get a chance to see it. I imagine it would look fresh and modern and will enjoy it vicariously through you.
