Just caught up after returning from Paris. Too many pages for individual comments but everyone’s pics have been wonderful!!

Picked up a little something from FSH that has not been shown yet. Cotton 65cm scarf from the men’s line. Collection Equestre in fuchsia/blanc/laitue. This color way is opposite from what I would normally choose but that green hem just wowed me and DH talked me into it. I love the cotton 65s for warmer weather and wish they released more than 1 pattern each spring.

Hello
Long time reader and silk lover here, but a first poster. On the EU site now some Demi Carre Vintage silk 70s have appeared- what is 'vintage silk' compared with twill please? A 70cm size in a plain design would fill a gap for me.
So happy I have found TPF - it is helping me extend my scarf collection in a more informed fashion. Thanks
Welcome! The "vintage silk" is a softer twill than the standard twill. It has the feeling of a well-worn scarf rather than the stiffness new scarves often have. Many scarfies love the way they drape right out of the store rather then waiting months or years for the 90cm scarves to acquire the same feeling. Hermes used to produce several patterns in the 70s [much in the same way as they do the 90s] each season but as of about a year or so ago they only produce the 70s in the plain, geometric designs [often in jacquard].

is this a new 70s design then for '18? Mega pois in marine bleu/ciel. I'm not one for obvious logos but folded differently I could be tempted, very chic

Yes Demi Carré and Mega Pois are new 70s for this season, as well as Petite Abeille (but have not seen this one available online yet). I’ve added a post by Yodaling (above) where you can see the CWs for the last one.

Welcome to the H scarf threads, DoraSilky! Hope you share with us when you've decided on a 70cm vintage silk or a 90cm silk twill. :)
