I must admit that while I had immediately dismissed this design it has grown on me.

Thank you for the compliment. My boutique originally didn't order this color way so when they saw it, they regretted not getting this one. It's so much prettier in real life than the photo online.

OIk, so it is time for H rehab....I have gone crazy this season...but at least I can share with my friends!! I will say that I have not kept everything I have purchased (but have certainly held onto most of it!!)

3 more 2018 recent additions. PdS CSGM in cw 10 (cross post from PdS thread) , Jaquar Quetzel CSGM in cw 04, and Jeu des Cartes (90cm silk) in cw09. The colors on the JQ are very different from any other shawl I have! The JdC in the navy, teal and white is really classic. It looks so crisp!

Happy to post more pix if anyone would find them useful.

Am in love with JQ 04, as you so elegantly have tied it (as usual, hopiko). It's just stunningly dramatic and will be here shortly.

Ok, so I really struggled to make DHs gift work. He was such a sweetie for surprising me with that Cavalleria Favolosa but I couldn't imagine why he picked those colors when the SAs know I cannot wear green or orange (much less both!) near my face.

When I went back to exchange it - surprise! - I figured it out. It was the scarf on display over the counter. He had the right idea with the pink and blue (I have Bs those colors) but it was just too bright. Not wanting to insult him, I was a bit stressed but I got soooo lucky - H makes a very similar colorway with the same colors, but less of the brights and more of the neutrals. [emoji28][emoji28][emoji28]
