It never occurred to me that we are meant to take them off...then why are they so securely sewn on?!? I just tried removing one today and got cold feet. The clearance between the tag and the scarf is too close, not sure I’m ready to use extremely sharp scissors that close to my brand new scarf! Maybe I should wear it first...just in case..;)

The first inkling of this was on my Au Bout du Monde charity scarf way before Christmas, others have hardly commented on this major change so I thought it was just me being difficult. I told my SA I don't like them which is when she told me they're supposed to be removed. What was wrong with the old labels? Perhaps a new EU directive? If it ain't broke...

I also don't feel confident enough to remove them, and yet it certainly gets in the way leaving the tails out or even on a point whereas I could just twist a tie or lengthen one point to hide the old label. On my Gucci or Liberty scarves the labels hang by a couple of threads begging to be removed (if I wanted) but this label looks a clumsy left on and hard to take off.

Anyway, it a new season thing but perhaps not right fro this thread. Back to enjoying the lovely new SS18 scarves

Thank you so much for these pix! I am having the most difficult time finding CW 01 of Jeu de Cartes. I bought CW10 but am holding off wearing it until I can compare it IRL to 01. It is driving me crazy!!! From what I can gather, 10 is more "dramatic" (and @Living.la.vida.fifi rocks it) but in 01 the cards look prettier and more richly textured. So nice your SA brought one in for you. My SA has not picked up on my hints yet, LOL!

I just think all the cws haven't come in yet. This is also a new H policy from a few years ago to keep people coming in through the season and not having sell outs at the beginning (and having time for re-prints I'm sure). London has had lots of 06 (fabulous but not great on me) and a few 07 (orange) but no news on (04) green or others I'm interested in.

01 looks much nicer posted by @GeorginaLavender than on h.com.

I cannot find cw10 online in order to do a comparison between your two choices. I usually look on all-en.hermes.com which shows all colourways available in a particular design, but cw10 evades it! Could someone share a picture if they have one? [emoji846]

I gave up and removed the tag on mine! I am actually quite pleased with this CW mostly because I love that soft grey background. But I am still so curious about CW1! Would love to get one around my neck to satisfy my curiosity. Please do post if you get a hold of one!

Have you seen post 3917?

They've def turned up the green filter on-line H..com. Bleu Glacier was the background to Coeur de la Vie re-issue and has much more grey-blue undertones than the almost aqua on-line. I also think they've adjusted the brightness, the red is not bright scarlet in any of the 'IRL' mod shots but a rather lovely mid-red that may even work against RH.

BTW, you look divine in 06, I was rather sad it didn't work so well on me.

Thank you so very much! I saw the post. CW1 is gorgeous! I won’t be satisfied until I can try it on IRL. But, I am also not disappointed that I removed the tag on mine. I love it!

A store manager informed me the labels will be printed in different languages, hence the change. I dislike the new labels, they get in the way, can flap forward and become visible when the scarf is worn. Also, as they are firmly attached to the scarf, my seam ripper won't be put to use any time soon!

My SA told me there was a new regulation in EU that there should be the local language on the care tag so there was a huge delay in shipment in our store last season due to that. Because they had to work out a temporary solution. I believe this enormous new tag is to comply with the new regulation.

My tags are off and in their respective boxes. I’d had it.

Interestingly I found it telling of how they’re sewed on by hand. One, the JQ was sewn quite loosely and very easy to remove with two snips of a sharp baby scissor. The other, Omnibus, was super tight and I couldn’t get the blade between the thread and the silk. It took over 20 min with magnifying lenses to slowly work just the thread used to attach the label. Oy. But worth it.
