It's interesting. Looking back at all the amazing black background scarfs posted on the SOTD thread (where the bold colours really pop against black) I realize the colourways for SS2018 really don't do it for me at all. Although I did get GP du F in cw 08 and hope to get a PdS CSGM in the cabane, I think that will be it. Of course, my wallet thanks me for it.....
Totally agree!!! H seems so scared to use black in their scarves, even with the men’s collection. It looks like they have a real preference for using dark blue, navy, marine etc instead, over and over again. For this season, there were several scarves that I thought had black in them, that actually ended up being bleu noir. Really bugs me, even though I love blue, a black-based scarf with pops of bold colour would be fantastic. And feel fresh.

To show the face, I fold on the bias and drape over my neck. Lay the scarf flat, design facing down. Take opposite corners and fold in towards the center of the scarf about two times. Then drape. You may have to readjust the folds to accommodate the size of the face. I hope this helps.
It's similar color palette to the Samourai cw 12.

Well I have officially fallen down this prettily coloured rabbit hole. Hubby recently bought me JQ in cw 3 which is my first ever Hermes scarf and I could not have been happier. The ladies in Selfridges, London could not do enough for me to make sure that my first scarf was perfect for me in every way. I think we must have gone through every scarf in the store before I found the One. But within an unseemly amount of time, I was craving another scarf and the JQ cw1 was calling to me. I know I should have chosen something completely different, but I just love them both. It will be winging its way to me from France as we speak.
