i feel bad having to exchange it, as it's the very first gift from DH from H, and he picked it all by himself, but i do not know how to make it work, i don't know how to wear it (he thought i'd use it on the bag's handle, but i don't do this either) and i don't wear green ....Seeing that last photo, I think you should keep your new twilly!
i will be very happy if you can give me ideas how to make it work and i would be happy to keep it

Keep it! It's not only green, it's a multicolor twilly that will work great with different combinations.
Since we're still in Winter we are not used to this color palette, it's very bright and intended ti be used in Spring/Summer.
If you don't feel to dare to wear it with bright clothes, just try it with a white shirt and trousers.
A twilly was my hubby's first (and I think last) present from H, I do prefer to scarves when the weather gets hotter and a scarf is too much to wear

You can also try to tie it around your wrist?

Its a wonderful twilly dear! I see more blue than green actually. When my Dh bought my first silk I kept it for almost ten years for sentimental reasons. It pleased him to see me wearing it. I use my twillies with my Evelyne too, as a extra strap in doubling it when i want to wear it shorter. The design with the horses is charming and very H. Also tie my twilly on a fandarole silver chain to show it off alone if that helps. And they look great with a mors scarf ring. I sometimes wear my twillies like this, thanks to an idea from @MYH . I also wear them around my wrist, but I don't have a pic to share. Maybe I'll wear one today and take a pic...the problem is that I do not wear twillies

it has 4 green parts, and only 2 of other colours, so green is dominant colour which is not MY colour at all.
Actually we just discussed it again, he gave me (as a main gift) a new BV bag, and he wanted this twilly to become a decoration for the bag. But, as he didn't have the bag along to compare/match it, he chose the most 'universal' cw, which oddly enough does not work with the bag, colours just don't look good together.
during our test and trial he said - fine, it obviously does not work, let's get a new one!
so I might get a mors ring and keep this one to wear it hiding green and showing blue and red, or just exchange and get the right colour which I will wear with delight and he will like to see me WEARING it.another thing that bugs me is the white corners, I am afraid they will become grey pretty quickly
