Iv'e never known such a season when there were such tight groupings

Do you think you can justify three of the same CW family? I can feel myself leaning to the pink/greens and the blues but are they too similar? (Note I felt this way about mythical Phoenix and kicking myself ever since)

They all look amazing on you, you always look wonderful in these colours. One thing I find annoying too is the limited groups of colours over all the designs it forces you to choose between. Go for which design you feel closer to you, from my perspective I love the Sea Surf Fun on you best.

The winners for me are Grand Prix in the pink cw, JQ in cw01 and surprisingly for me the surf Sand Sun in the plummy cw. I can't decide! What do you guys think? The last two are in The same color family...

I love that Surf Sand Sun on you - it looks marvelous tied!
(but I don't like it as much flat!)

Ha I am the last person to give advice on similar CWs, as I have a drawer full of blue!
However, I think the JQ is a busier pattern, the SSF is very abstract and bigger blocks of color, and the last one is somewhat in between. Also the Grand Prix scarf is very busy, so a whole different vibe.

FWIW, I have sometimes branched out to different colors than my usual comfort zone, but often find that I don't reach for them as often as others.

For me, I am attracted the purplish CWs this season, I may very well get at least 2 in that color family as it is a color combo that I don't have in my collection and H doesn't seem to do often.

Buy what you love!

I've only dipped in to this 2018 thread because I still like 2107 and am continuing to hunt for favourites from that.
At first sight I thought you were modelling the same scarf , then the penny dropped.
I too prefer the middle one .Why?
Because for me the strongly contrasted colour palette works best in a minimalist graphic design, it looks clean and contemporary .
The top Alice Shirley is nice, very similar to what we've seen from her already i.e. Tyger marries ZP.
so if you have neither and love the design go for that one too.
I need to read back to identify the bottom one, it's not my favourite as I find the addition of yellow tricky, although I'm a yellow lover normally.

You look great in scarves full stop!
My favourite is the totally fab plum and green sea surf etc,love his designs I'm a huge fan of modernism Tropicale so that will be my choice from this selection.
The Alice Shirley seems to be popular if you don't have many of hers already .The second c'way with orange hem is way ahead for me.
Not keen on the first AS it looks so busy probably because of it having white along with earth tones.

Popped-in today in the H shop in my hometown in France and as suspected (dreaded?), they had a decent selection of the forthcoming season on sale already. H Gattoni’s was one of them but only 1 CW available (08. orange skies- modelled by joannadyne s few days ago I think) which isn’t the one I’m after. Didn’t see the coveted by most JQ but didn’t ask either since I’m not particularly interested. Got myself the Omnibus Remix in blue (06) and les Oiseaux Parleurs in 02 (red background). Was also shown the “Cheveaux sous le capot” but not really convinced...yet...

Great analysis frou frou! ITA the middle design is the strongest in the selected cw; very clean and contemporary with rich colors. I'm finding a similarity among Alice Shirley's designs too, but they are a bit like Annie Faivre in that if you're drawn to one or two it's likely that you'll fall for all or most of them. I'm not suggesting that the designs are similar, only that each artist's work is so intensely and singularly their own that you could probably pick the one in 'your' colors and be blissfully happy. For the Della Cavaleria, I'm not sure that cw is the optimal one for that design but will have to see it IRL to be sure. Happy contemplating....and list making

My kitty cat has arrived! I never order from H online because I like to see and try on the scarves IRL at my H store since I always seem to walk out with something totally unexpected. But, since my H store has nothing in from SS2017 and I wanted a JQ so badly that I couldn’t wait any longer, I caved. Just opened the box and here it is: cw1. More muted and subtle than I expected but such a fantastic design! It’s nighttime here so lighting is poor and I’m in a hurry to go out but will post more pics (including modeling shots) tomorrow. Although I’ve spied on this thread, this is the first time I actually post here, although I’ve been posting on SOTD. I’m looking forward to seeing everyone’s pics and to sharing more pics of my own as we enter the new season of beautiful silks!

Fabulous mod shots! I just love seeing your mod shots!

I like the purple Ugo Gattoni on you, the second JQ you showed (at least with the sweater you were wearing), and the very bright Favolosa of the ones you tried on. I'd love to see what you look like in the purple JQ CW.
