I just received a mini Lindy II in bamboo with PHW yesterday. Was unsure but took her home anyway and now I’m just obsessed!

Backstory - I’ve been trying for a VERY long time for a P18 to no avail. Went in store yesterday and asked to try on the “display” mini Lindy just for fun. Got a call 5 minutes later from my SA offering the bag.

Hi. Does anyone know if the price for the mini Lindy went up in the US? I’ve checked ******** and the Lindy is not listed in the price increase chart for 2025. Please share price if you’ve been able to purchase a mini Lindy in the US in 2025. Thank you!!!

I believe so. Just got mine yesterday for $7950 before tax. Wasn’t tracking the previous price so not 100% sure

Yep, used to be $7300.

So I got a new rose Sakura bag which is a mini Lindy 2. The ostrich is a mini Lindy 1. Yet they look very close to the same drop length. The rose Sakura is just a little bit shorter. Not nearly as dramatic as in the pictures I have seen

Finally got my Mini Lindy from the Hermès boutique without any purchase history! She’s absolutely adorable!!

Personally, I stopped having strong feelings towards this- fashion has always been inspired from house to house. At a point in time bags were briefcases, travel duffels, utility sacks etc and different manufacturers ( brands) just sold their version. I read recently about Bonnie Cashin (coach's first creative director) and there was a coach suspender bag in the 60s/70s which looked very similar to the Lindy. Was JPG inspired by it? Also the Kelly danse anate looked like a Bonnie Cashin from 1964.

PS: Cashin did have her creations (RTW) at Hermès at a point in time too.
