Is this the only difference the strap length on the ML IIJust sharing, this is the ML II in the newest color Bronze Brown (but it is actually a dark shade of grey like Gris Misty) strange plus bad lighting. I am 5’2 around 155 pounds. The strap is shorter than ML original version for sure because my friend have the ML first version and that one sat lower on my hip. I wasn’t able to take this home as I was only allowed to purchase one bag in this meeting so I got something else that’s harder to get at my US home store (Got this in Paris without a leather appt but that is a whole different story).
I’m not sure, the only thing that stood out was the strap placement on me. Others have mentioned that the size is slightly different as well, very minimal. Is this the only difference the strap length on the ML II
My SA said the bag dimensions were slightly taller on the ML II and strap shorter. I couldn't tell the difference in the dimensions myself but the strap was noticeably shorter I thoughtIs this the only difference the strap length on the ML II
No, it was mentioned earlier here that the dimensions have also changed. Is this the only difference the strap length on the ML II
I saw both of them at a store and the MLII one looks more cuboid ( I guess that's where the dimension difference is) than the earlier version which has a slight 'dome' look on top. It is barely noticeable though especially because the store displays are kinda of forced to assume the sag in the middle. Is this the only difference the strap length on the ML II
I have a Mini Lindy I and my mom has the II. I can use mine as a crossbody comfortably but not my mom's because the II's strap is honestly too short for crossbody and is better off as a shoulder bag. The Mini Lindy I is definitely a bit too long for shoulder carry, but you can technically still make it work. Both of them do kind of stay on (when wearing on the shoulder) but that will also depend on the slope of your shoulders/what you're wearing. For those of you who have a Mini Lindy I or II, do you tend to use it more as a crossbody bag or more as a shoulder bag? Do you think of it more as a crossbody bag only vs. shoulder bag? If you carry it on your shoulder, does it stay on?
The struggle is real- I have wanted a ML for years and now I am torn on whether to keep it or not. Soliciting opinions from tPFers as I never really know if a bag will work for me or not until I use it for weeks, or sometimes months, but the plastic has to stay on in case I decide to return so trying it out in the wild isn't really an option...
I think I would have been annoyed with the original ML I strap being too long for all the times that I would want to shoulder carry. However, with the ML II, I think I am too tall to ever wear it crossbody comfortably. I am 5'6" for reference. With the ML II, the strap seems great for shoulder carry, but I wonder if I will be annoyed that I can never comfortably wear it crossbody? Typically, I prefer shoulder carry and don't love the way a crossbody cuts between my chest. I also don't love bulky bags for crossbody. But I guess I always thought of the ML as a crossbody bag, so maybe I worry it would look a little "off" to always shoulder carry?
Wonder if H shortened the strap to appeal to shorter clients or to move the bag toward shoulder carry?

I am obsessed with green bags and would use the ML and mini Evie for very different purposes so I have zero issues with them being exact same color and similar in size. Apologies for bathroom/workout clothes pics.

I'm 5'5", and only wear my ML as a crossbody. Maybe it's my shoulders, the ML wouldn't stay on for long and I don't like to worry about my ML dropping and falling to the ground. For those of you who have a Mini Lindy I or II, do you tend to use it more as a crossbody bag or more as a shoulder bag?
