Scarves ........The Hermès Fall/Winter 2021 Scarves...........

So, in spite of the simple colors, I am a sucker for celestial designs. My first scarf of the season arrived this afternoon, the double face Clair de Lune in CW08, noir, jaune d'or, bleu. The fourth color is white. I wasn't able to photograph the entire side of the scarf, but I got most of it. The yellow is orange enough that I think this would be a great fall scarf. The blue is a lovely medium blue. I hope you find these photos useful.

Dying to know about this one … do you think it is the same weight as a regular 90 twill ?
other manufacturers do double sided ones, they seem to often be on heavier fabrics - so that the ink from one side does not bleed through to the other …
another obsession of mine .. I want to know the weight of the silk for each product, to me - a heavy weight scarf in a given size folds different from a light weight one .. I checked web site says nothing …

I'll weigh the scarf in a couple of days. I recently received the Men's Formule Chic and I have Route 24, Wow and Della Cavalleria Favolosa which I will add to my scarf study.

I have this one and plan to do some mod shots/natural light shots this weekend @lifegetsbetterwithh. I don't have anything Craie or Nata, but perhaps a RL photo will help! It is a really pretty neutral scarf.

I saw the blue Les Artisans in the store as I thought of adding a cw, but I felt the same thing @Redbirdhermes -- it felt kind of flat compared to my red one, which I was actually wearing!

I really wanted to see a few also-- the design is so painterly and then the superimposed graphic letters add interest to save it from too much prettiness. I would love to examine the details...LOL about diphthongs! We have them in Spanish also, @WhyMrBabcock!

I do! I will take some photos tonight. I haven’t worn it yet . I’ve been pretty scarf light these days due to heat or hanging at home. I’m going to try a two gavroche look tmrw. I’m doing a Boston college tour w my son tmrw. Worthy of my Bibliotheque gavs if I can make two colorways work together.

Another small beauty caught my eye when visiting our local store again after a long time: HERMES ELECTRIQUE in vert d‘eau / noisette! This gavroche had to come home with me! It had not been on my WL - but it was love at first sight!

Scarf mail! When this one was released in the 90 I started saving because I knew if they ever made it in a CSGM I'd have to have it, and after pondering for a few weeks between my top 3 choices for it, I am happy to make this Danse des Amazons CW 13 Rouge Vert Multipcolor mine. The colors are fabulous. I love the pinks and mint greens in this, combined with the blue and other brights and all the wonderful symbologies on the scarf. (Guest appearances by my own little lion- Finn. )

Twins!!!!@Redbirdhermes!!! This looks amazing on you! I just received mine and was deciding between the pink/yellow/blue green version. I really thought I wanted CW05 but after doing a thorough review of my fall and winter scarfs, I just can't see another blue/white or silvery scarf. This is really different for me on the black/gold side but as you correctly point out it is not a typical gold. Mine has to go in the Scarf Gift Vault (that Mr. NOLA does not know he has) for my October birthday. Hat tip to @bunnycat for the SGV idea...ALSO major bonus that black and gold are the team colors of the New Orleans Saints! So I will wear it a lot when I am home. Congratulations!!!

Just work him in to the idea slowly...in fact...make him think having one is his idea!

This is an interesting matter that I had to investigate immediately! I compared my two double face scarves (Wow and Formule Chic) to Projets Carrés (A/W 2007). All three have exactly the same weight: 67 gram. Even if my scale isn't correct, it shows at least the same weight for all three. They all feel equivalent in the hand.
