Thanks for the modeling pictures! I have been eyeing this color way too. In fact it is the only cw in the GM that has gotten my attention. I do not usually buy these colors, but it is still calling me. I was worried it would need to be worn with more of a brown palette, but it sounds like you are planning on wearing it with grays, too. Is the background natural of gris d'chine? Thanks!!

I'd day brown is very secondary in this shawl. Heather and graphite Grey's are very prominent, it perfection with the grey H coat!

A couple blurbs from hermes.com. Both are this season’s design. Not sure if any of us actually use our silks this way but nice to see them highlighting some more untraditional (?) uses.

Re: Duo - Yes! The artist is Japanese and is paying tribute to the traditional kimono. I think this may be a "more than one" pickup for me. It is very beautiful and I didn't realize until I saw mod shots here. When I saw it in person, it was heart eyes emoji for sure.

Somehow Duo Cosmique reminds me a bit of Ex Libris en Kimonos - I guess it‘s the Japanese inspired pattern and the circle right in the centre. I was not very impressed with it either when I saw the official pictures because I found the pattern confusing. But folded, it’s an entirely different matter!

Totally agree with you and I felt the same until seeing it. Elek is near and dear to me and I was lucky enough to find two color ways last year, this very much evokes that same Japanese kimono vibe. I think seeing it tied and trying it myself helped me fall in love. Funnily enough I never “got” elek either until I saw an approachable colorway as modeled by @Pirula then I fell in love!

I love both my ELeK's and similar to Foxy, I bought both of mine under the influence of mod shots-- one by a friend well before my H obsession days and my second cw when I saw it on @momasaurus. If I had to leave home in a hurry they would both be shoved in whatever I was carrying. I also fell hard for Duo Cosmique and am waiting patiently for mine. I do love both designs tied (as seen on @TammyPrincess77) and flat. Such fabulous rich details and layers on both! I think you made perfect seasonal choices Foxy-- can't wait to see you model them.

Spoke to SA in New Jersey today and she says absolutely no Eleftheria in the whole company (for US). Still waiting for many designs and shipping has been super slow. She tried to find me that adorable 70 "Rendezvous Chez Hermes" and could only locate the camel color in San Francisco. I wish I could see Lazy Leopardess and more cws of some of the other 90s (especially Claire de Lune) but at least a few are now on H.com. It feels frustrating but maybe I just like a coherent seasonal plan better than shopping piece by piece (though that can be fun too). It is great seeing all the IRL photos of beauties on this thread...

This jives with what I heard at my boutique last Friday re: eleftheria. I am curious as to whether it will show up on the website at some point?! @laurenad another confirm on this one

I think my Fall haul is shaping up to be Duo in cw04, Grand Tralala in cw07 and/or cw 06 and Claire de Lune in cw08. Plus a Bingata twilly and the hoped for 70, but not in camel. Blues-- and blacks-- are my weakness, too for sure so I try to move out of my comfort zone (but not too far ). I wish I didn't look like a child playing dress up in the larger formats-- anything bigger than a 100 tends to dwarf me. At least I save some $$$.

I can’t seem to find cw 05 of Duo Cosmique in this thread?
It’s been available on the French website for at least a week and a half, and I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it!

Unfortunately it has proven impossible to capture the colors correctly in pics, so please keep that in mind Some pics are too light, some too bright, some too dark… I guess the actual irl colors are somewhere in between! The pic where I tried to edit it to be more accurate (pic 2) probably looks worse than the original did…
The colors are quite autumnal, so I probably won’t use it for a few months, but it would look great with summery colors like peach as well if one wanted to wear it during the summer months.
