Love it and this is perfect for your color palette. Great choice and observation on the tag.
Thank you!
Stunning. Did it go home with you?

Beautiful. I think you'll enjoy it.
Hallelujah. Thanks for the care tag detail, obviously all the complaining worked.
Yes!

My wash scarf from Le Saut has this small tag. I think your Kachinas is gorgeous!
Thank you!

Sorry to hear that the regular scarves sound like they still have the jumbo tag. At least the new wash scarves have something smaller.

When the wash scarves first came out, they reminded me of that worn clothes look — you know, when you have machine washed your black cotton shirt too many times, and it is obviously ‘worn’ so you have to get rid of it even though it is fine otherwise.

I do think it can work for a more casual look, and I think for many that would be easier to wear than a regular twill carre. I bought Pierres to experiment with, and while I enjoy it, I don’t think I am going to buy more. It wrinkles so much... one needs to iron it after every wear. The ‘worn t-shirt’ thought is always in the back of my mind as well.

Having said that, the Kachinas CWs that I have seen so far felt less ‘worn’ to me, so perhaps they are working on their technique — they looked quite bright hung up, and I only realized they were wash scarves when I came over to have a look / touch. I don’t know if wrinkling is s much of an issue there, either.

I agree with you on the CW theory — none of those scarves are my grails, but many will be happy.
As a "Summer" coloring type that does best with a bit of dustiness in colors near my face, I find the "H brights" are more wearable in the wash format. I hope H continues this format. Wish they would bring the price more in line with the silk twill tho!

European boutiques starting to get stock deliveries but under strict orders not to sell until 1 July. Could not even get a look (at AW19 scarves ) at Amsterdam airport today....
That’s not true for all European stores, as I purchased an aw scarf at my local store yesterday, and I’m in Europe.
These past couple of seasons they seem to have received new season stock earlier than before, so maybe the late season start date in Europe will change?
Then again, it all may be because there’s not enough stock earlier? No point in launching a new season if there’s hardly any stock to go around.
My store is quite small, so while they received what is considered a rather large shipment for them, a different store might go through that many scarves in just a day or two. :hrmm:

I wouldn't be surprised if they do that in the future (...by raising the price of the regular silk twills).

Here is another cw of Boucles et Galons

Unfortunately, this color does not suit me well.
Hmmm, I don’t think it would suit me either.
I know, it was really the model pic on h.com that opened my eyes to it, I think.
It’s really not the type of scarf that I usually go for, but that gorgeous camel shade (not too grey)...Yum. And then the softness of washed silk as an added bonus made it absolutely irresistible
Get it - I’m sure you’ll love it too :drinks:
My SA jokes that I’ve got a standing date with her every two weeks. Maybe another scarf reveal in two weeks!

Looking forward to seeing what you got.

Thanks for sharing that. My local boutique also understood July as release date (London), but I hadn't yet had that confirmed. It's only a week away...

I'm just annoyed really, to be so close to Paris and logistically easier to direct stock than the US ... and yet delayed by quite a bit.

At least I know the stock is there as I saw it wrapped with my own eyes ....

I was told July 1. I’m in London, as well. The waiting is killing me.
