OMG, if I had another CW of Pivoines I would’ve totally walked out with this one! The cityscape birds-eye views are similar, bur nothing that would deter me from getting both. It’s the blue that is just too similar in both IN ADDITION to the graphics. So no. I couldn’t. And the weirdest thing is that it was honestly my very favorite of them all. I wanted to cry.

Hahaha! Well, I did try both on at the store and even my SA dissuaded me. And, I am one known to continue getting scarves that resemble each other... But, the resemblance was a bit too much in this case. Waaaah! I wanted it so badly! So I am patiently waiting for the other CWs that will be arriving soon.

I actually went in looking for the navy/green CW15, which is striking, but couldn’t resist the multicolored one which I feel is prototypical of the design. Some have modeled it here and on Instagram, but I must say that @lanit and @cherryblossum inspired my decision. I also saw the black/grey CW and it is fabulous. Congrats on your JL Rainbow fifi! You nailed the reason for me too; there are so many choices this season, but how often does H issue a rainbow silk? BTW, I agree with your comparison of the Cite silk and Pivoines. I had my eye on the intense blue colorway, and still holding off to see if I fall for any others.

I’m dying to see the other CWs that will be coming in. And, regarding CW1, it is so versatile! It was my favorite purchase from the Spring/Summer season. While being quite colorful, it is so harmonious, and not nearly as bright as many of the scarves that I own. I definitely encourage you to consider it because it’s a true masterpiece.

One of the designs I’ve been very excited to see is Index Palmarum. There were three CWs at the Hermès store on Friday and, although I wished to see the ivory CW1, it had not arrived yet. But I couldn’t resist the black CW9 and bought it. The original illustration it is based on was actually on a black ground, so this CW is closest to the original design in overall feel and vibe, although the actual colors of the graphics of the scarf closest to the original are those of CW1. Here are some knots and closeups.

Thank you so much! I totally agree about the multicolored JLR... I found it impossible to pass up a totally rainbow scarf... and it will be awesome work with white, especially white pants or skirt. The intense blue CW of LCC has been ordered at my store and should be arriving very soon... I can’t wait to try it on!

Fantastic mod shots! Love the Halzan :biggrin:
I have an emotional connection to the cite scarf but the pastel cws don't work for me. The blue is lovely it may be too dark for me. I always wear my silks as a bit of a contrast. I've seen the scarf block and await the black and white CW....

Index Pal is another one I'm keen to see in black and in person. Oh my wallet!!

I stopped by the Hermès store on Friday since they had finally received a few of the designs and CWs I wanted to see. They had a few beautiful CWs of Cosmographia Universalis, but I couldn’t commit since I wish to see a couple more CWs which I was told would be arriving in two weeks. They also had a few of Index Palmarum, although not the cream which I have been anxious to see. I also saw three CWs of La Cite Cavaliere and they were amazing. I was especially blown away by CW1. It was actually my favorite scarf of them all, but it sadly didn’t come home with me because I felt that this CW was way too similar to my CW14 of A l’Ombre des Pivoines. If I didn’t own that Pivoines, CW1 of LCC would be mine. It is spectacular! Here are some pics, including a comparison of LCC and Pivoines. More CWs of LCC will be arriving soon.

Thank you so very very much for your as always so great photos. I am always delighted about it. The last photo with LCC in the blueish cw makes me even more impatient to wait for it to finally arrive in my boutique. If it suits me I really would absolutely like to buy it.

Thank you so much for sharing - again. I can hardly wait to see and try on the LCC in person. I love the design so much and I like the dark blue on you very much though it might be difficult for me to find a CW that really suits me.

Have you thought about the Rouge/Bordeaux/Blanc 09 la Cite? I struggled with the colours offered as well and have ordered 09. I will post pics when it arrives.
