Such a gorgeous cooler day in New England today...I got a chance to try out my new Zouaves et Dragons losange that I found at the H duty free boutique on a recent layover at CDG airport. A bit tricky to photo the whole losange!
So perfect for you! The CW is exquisite! Somehow I had focused on this design in the darker and brighter CWs but it is lovely in this pink... And, Fiona right there being her cute self!Scarf mail! I don't this this color has been in here yet:

Hello everyone,
I stopped by the Hermès store on Friday since they had finally received a few of the designs and CWs I wanted to see. They had a few beautiful CWs of Cosmographia Universalis, but I couldn’t commit since I wish to see a couple more CWs which I was told would be arriving in two weeks. They also had a few of Index Palmarum, although not the cream which I have been anxious to see. I also saw three CWs of La Cite Cavaliere and they were amazing. I was especially blown away by CW1. It was actually my favorite scarf of them all, but it sadly didn’t come home with me because I felt that this CW was way too similar to my CW14 of A l’Ombre des Pivoines. If I didn’t own that Pivoines, CW1 of LCC would be mine. It is spectacular! Here are some pics, including a comparison of LCC and Pivoines. More CWs of LCC will be arriving soon.

One of the designs I’ve been very excited to see is Index Palmarum. There were three CWs at the Hermès store on Friday and, although I wished to see the ivory CW1, it had not arrived yet. But I couldn’t resist the black CW9 and bought it. The original illustration it is based on was actually on a black ground, so this CW is closest to the original design in overall feel and vibe, although the actual colors of the graphics of the scarf closest to the original are those of CW1. Here are some knots and closeups.
Another scarf that came home with me on Friday was Jungle Love Rainbow in CW3. I actually went in looking for the navy/green CW15, which is striking, but couldn’t resist the multicolored one which I feel is prototypical of the design. Some have modeled it here and on Instagram, but I must say that @lanit and @cherryblossum inspired my decision. I also saw the black/grey CW and it is fabulous. Actually, this is one of those designs that I’ve loved in every single CW that I’ve seen. Here are some closeups and knots
They are beautiful. I do love that cw 1 of the cite. I was going to look at cw8 (bleu jean/rose), but this one is gorgeous. (Although I already own *too* many blue scarves.)
Fifi, you are inspiring me to branch out. I keep looking at kawa ora in cw1 because of you. It is more vibrant than what I usually wear, but I love it. I am just afraid that scarf will wear me instead of me wearing it.
Thank you so much! And CW8 of LCC is gorgeous and so versatile! The actual map graphics really stand out in that one, but the blues of CW1 are amazing! I’m dying to see the other CWs that will be coming in. And, regarding CW1, it is so versatile! It was my favorite purchase from the Spring/Summer season. While being quite colorful, it is so harmonious, and not nearly as bright as many of the scarves that I own. I definitely encourage you to consider it because it’s a true masterpiece.
Sigh.... the more I see cite Cavaliere the more I want it but like you I don't want to shell out for a scarf so similar to my pivoines... although the latter is white/Orange/pink so maybe if I got a completely different cw like the blue?? Thanks in any case for posting the comparison pics!
If you ever wobble in your LCC CW1 decision— I totally think there would enuf dif between it and Pivoines when tied. Sign me: N. Abler
N Abler, you are doing your job here. I have the same pivoines (as well as another
). Will have to ask my SA about LCC CW1. (She is going to hold cw8 for me to try when it comes in already.) If cw1 were on the website, I would order it now.
