What a fun scarf! You did such a great job highlighting different scarf colors with all of the different tops. Looks like a different scarf each time! Enjoy - I love hearing that you have your fave design in the perfect scarf for you!!

Love this with all your pairings, and especially with lemon!

Thank you so much Luvbolide and frou frou! :ty: I’m really going to enjoy this scarf, it works with every colour.
And thanks everyone for all the likes!

If it helps your decision making any, I own that shawl in another cw, here's a picture. I find it to be a super fun accessory. I have to say though that I find the design only works well with casual outfits. So if you're looking for something to complement business casual/formal attire, I wouldn't get the Faubourg Rainbow. Otherwise, go for it! For me, 1K and upwards is way too much to pay for a plain black shawl. You can get a good quality plain cashmere shawl elsewhere for much less. If I'm shelling out for Hermes it's for the colors and the designs.
Love this!

I love the multi-colored 140 shawls the best because of the designs. Look at your wardrobe and see if the Faubourg goes with most of your clothes. To me, the gray and black shawls are nice staples, but Hermes has such fabulous designs that sell out fast, so if you love this one, I would get it over the Ex Libris. You can get the Ex Libris another time.

I love color, so I vote for Faubourg Rainbow. There are many colors in that shawl to match your clothes. But take into consideration whether you want plain or pattern, If you tend to wear solid colors, then the Faubourg is great. But if you wear a lot of pattern or florals, then a sold color shawl will be more useful.

@Summerof89 I second what @Ladybaga says completely. The gray and black are wonderful staples... but you really can get great quality solids anywhere. I yearn for some of the double Encadre shawls, or H Passant because I feel like they're so simple I could wear them all the time.. BUT, BIG BUT, for 1K I feel like I should be getting more than a simple color block shawl (not that it stops me from wanting it!). That rainbow faubourg is such a stunner and it won't come back around in those colors. You will *ALWAYS* be able to find yourself a black or gray scarf. If it's lingering in the back of your mind/heart I really think it's at least worth a try! You have nothing to lose by trying it, if you don't love it send it back!

Thanks everyone for your inputs there are some great points that were made. I have decided to take the black back for exchange and see what my stock my store has. I agree the black was just too........ black and plain it’s even hard to see the monogram.

@Awillow - You look stunning in all three. I would love to see your Petit Duc modeled, too, if you can get a chance! ( I am drawn to Petit Duc in a few different color ways including the noir/creme.) That Mountain Zebra in red is glorious-- expecially when worn with black and white clothing. That's a real WOW!!!

Edited to add -- I see you've beaten me to it. Thank you so much! That, and the amazing cw of Brides de Gala Shadow are incredible on you, too!

I’ve come out from lurking... wanted to share La Cite Cavaliere in CW14 Ivoire/Anthricite, which arrived today. I knew as soon as I saw this one earlier in this thread that if I only got one scarf from this season, it would be this one! It’s very subdued, but the details are amazing. Very different from my other scarves, where I went for COLOR (and lots of it), maybe that’s why I was so drawn to this one. Not the best pics, but a couple quick shots- still too hot for scarves.

Thanks so much. A long day at work today, so I probably wasn't as inspired as I should have been. And the only full-length mirror is in my daughter's room, which she needs to clean! And I havent really gotten the hang of mod shots yet. So many excuses... But those scarves are all beautiful, and I do love them all!

And I fell in love with that Mountain Zebra. I am not usually a red person, but it is stunning!

 Thanks everyone for their IRL pics, so many beautiful scarves, want to contribute with my latest purchase.
This is my absolute favourite design that I initially missed out on.
 Hoped that they would reissue it and my wish was granted.:woot:
Perfect size, in for me the most beautiful and perfect CW, love it!!!:cloud9::tender:
(Btw, the colours of my pics should be more vibrant, but they appear to be covered in a lightgrey vail when I upload them here, slightly off, quite unfortunate! The pink is really a hot pink, the orange more of a coral, etc.)

WOW! This is such a cool scarf with so many fabulous colors! I love the many ways that you styled this, too! Thank you for your beautiful pictures.
