Also agreeing with @frou frou,. I'm always torn between the more fancy designs and the simpler ones which are often so striking when worn like this one

I think we all go bananas for the more intricate designs like Acte 111, and indeed I love that one ; but it’s the understated cool designs like this which really shine in the wearing .

Froufrou, many thanks for such a warm affirmation of my decision on this one. Per usual, I constantly second guess my decisions, so it is helpful to hear your input. I too hope to find an Acre III that works for me as I was unable to do so in the 90 format. I have tried most of the CW's except the blue/pink which I am hoping will work!

Thank you papertiger, there is just something about this design I have always liked, and this is my first Petit Duc item.

My store is newer (Palo Alto) and seems to have good inventory of everything except for red SLGs. Every time I want a new Bastia, a Calvi, what have you, there are never any red ones, and red is actually my default colors for those items. The explanation I got it was that our store attracts a lot of Asian customers (both local and tourists), and they view red accessories as bad luck, so SLGs in those colors don’t sell and are as a result rarely ordered / sent over. I am not Asian myself (nor is the SA who told me), but I have lived in China before, and my understanding is that red is actually considered a lucky color, but maybe I am mistaken here.

Either way, the store has very few red items that are not bags or scarves. Which annoys me to no end, since I have to order them internally or buy them elsewhere.

You are correct, red is a lucky colour in many Asian countries...
In my area, red get snapped for that exact reason

Thanks moma! I have been eyeing the pendant online for such a long time, and finally when I decided to get this scarf, I said I'm ordering it...I guess I may have gotten the last one :sad: I really wish there were more of the Lift PM's available either online or even in stores. I find them so useful!
