Just received and immediately sent back to Rome.
I'm not asking for perfection, but at least some precision.:noworry:
I've slightly bent the tag, the Coliseum was peeling off!

Unfortunately any stamp that has a larger area to put foil into ends up cracking eventually. I have seen it when they arrive perfectly, then months later they crack or I have seen it crack from the start. When LV gets too many complaints and/or has to replace tags, they end up changing the rule to blind stamp only or discontinue that particular stamp. It happened with Soho and I can see it happening with Rome. I had a coliseum stamp that arrived perfect, but started getting hairline cracks in it even though I display it in my room, never used it. I ended up selling it for this reason.

Thank you so much, your experience is extremely helpful.
Actually i was thinking that engraving the shape with a "simple" press might turn out to be the best choice.
This is likely the best way to personalize a tag

Hello Ladies/Gents.
I’ve been buying my LV online these past few months and I never noticed an option for hot stamping. I have the Graceful in DE and Mono and an Alma BB; they all have hang tags. May I ask how I would go about getting them hot-stamped? I’ve been seeing them here and they look lovely! Do I just walk into a store? Does it cost anything? How long does it take? Days, weeks, months?

Thanks so much for the info.

That tag was not blind stamped though. That was made that way before being sold. There is a slight difference :)

It is free, you take into a store, and it usually can be done the same day. HTH!

Let me guess

Johannesburg
Peking
Tokyo
Year of the Pig 2019
Verona

Just playing, let's wait for the official release

My guess is

S Africa / Australia (Johannesburg is adding men rtw to their store)
Japan (money cat)
Taiwan (since they already have the outlined version)
Year of pig... everywhere
No clue!

Beautiful! [emoji7]

So I can just go to the store in Sydney, choose a luggage tag and get it stamped?
Not likely. You are best to bring a luggage tag there yourself to get it stamped. If you have a purchase history of a luggage, they may sell you a tag. Otherwise you are at the mercy of the sa. They are pretty strict about selling luggage tags these days in any LV store...

Hamburg, Germany.
does my store have something besides letters?:flowers:
and what do you know about Citys like London, Madrid, Barcelona, new York and paris?

thank you so much for your very fast reply:heart:
There are three German stamps so far. You can find all your questions by watching foxylv’s YouTube video. She tells/ shows you what city has what stamp. New York has many. Since she made the video, there had been more stamps came out. She’s suppose to do a follow up video...

I'm headed to Taiwan in the Spring, so glad there is a Taiwan stamp. I assume this is the Taipei 101 building? Need to get my hands on a luggage tag before then

There are many many many stamps you can get in Taiwan. Taipei 101 stamp comes in two forms... one solid and one outline. There is also pineapple, at least one dog stamp (different from dog zodiac stamp), gold money block (yuan bao), Vivienne, dou dou bear, bus stop stamp, lion face stamp, goat face stamp (different from goat zodiac stamp). I’m sure there are other ones I’m not aware of. So you need at least ten blank luggage tags to collect them all if not more. Happy stamping.
