I'm in love though quite surprised by some of your hot stamps! At the stores I have visited in the UK some SAs are really snotty about hot stamping location and size! They refused to hot stamp my Alma BB clochette with the letter size of my choice and insisted on one size only saying anything else "would not represent the brand nicely!" [emoji58] I was hardly asking for a big, garish stamp either, just one size up from what they insisted was "policy"! seeing as it was only one letter and I didn't want it to be so tiny it looked underwhelming. I just couldn't understand the issue as I've seen much larger stamps than that on here.

They also got uppity about my partner wanting his phone case hotstamped on the top middle of the inside flap and insisted it was policy to have it below the "made in" stamp. Eventually I had to pull out my phone case and show them that the mail order store had placed it in the top middle on mine and it looked much less cluttered and more elegant there. Eventually they begrudgingly agreed saying it was "a shame" to do it there! I can only imagine their horror if I had asked for anything more funky such as hearts and the like. Has anyone else experienced hot stamp discrimination?! [emoji13]

Not in the US! Goodness that's rude! At least you're stuff is going to be stamped the way you want.

Who are they to say what stamp would be a "shame" or "not represent." So baffling.

There are a lot of French staff in LV UK stores and, having a French mother myself and knowing the attitude, they can be very snotty, uppity people in certain retail situations. It seems they apply personal thoughts to hot stamping (or simply try to be difficult as it gives them some sort of power trip) claiming that it is actually store/brand policy when it clearly is not. I think we were just unfortunate enough to encounter some bad ones when getting stuff heat stamped as, naturally, there are lots of nice SAs who we have had the pleasure of dealing with too. I am a believer in the old adage of "catching more flies with honey" so try to smile and turn the other cheek to this attitude but we have encountered a great deal of snobbiness from this particular fashion house in the UK! I phoned LV customer service last week to enquire as to the price of replacing the front pocket on a Speedy B 25 and had the most awkward of conversations with the lady on the phone who absolutely insisted that there was NO front pocket on the Speedy B 25 and refused to budge from this adamant stance! She eventually put me on hold and came back and said with a sarcastic tone, "Ooooh, you mean the outside pocket Madame, there is no front pocket as *I* said!"
Ummmmm......Ok! :p I had put her on loud speaker and my partner was cracking up at the ridiculousness of it all!

That really is ridiculous. What the heck are they on over there? That kind of idiocy can push customers away! Bye bye commission/sales goals! At the end of the day, that's what matters in retail! Not who was right about aesthetics or pocket placement.

The outside pocket is in the front of the dang bag [emoji849]

So sorry to hear you've had such snobbery in the UK shops. I guess I've gotten lucky with my SAs there.

Are you in the US? Customer service is fabulous out there!

It is a shame! It's not like if my initials are A.S.S and I wanted them in a 6" font right across the mono leather!! [emoji23][emoji38]

Out of interest is anyone else in this club in the UK and know if the heart heat stamp is available here in London or the like? :) I'm determined to put my foot down over what I want next time I get something hot stamped! :)

Yes in the US!

And if those were your or anyone's initials, tough luck LV, they should get their initials monogrammed like everyone else! Haha.
