You never know there are maybe international buyers who can’t get a hold of these but they have money trees “cough cough maybe rich princesses around the world”. To them 15k is literally like pocket change. Value of an item truly depend on how badly someone wants it and willing to pay for it.

Re TRR bag... If I was a billionaire, I'd pay that for a heart bag! :whut: :biggrin:

I'm not a Chanel VIP, and don't have an SA... I went into the Chanel on Walton Street, London, on Saturday, and was told there wasn't even any point even putting my name on the waitlist for any of the heart bags (I'm literally up for any size, colour, even the little 'coin purse' on the chain necklace). So I think maybe they're more available in North America than UK, given what I've seen on here.

But IG is flooded with these bags at a fraction of this cost. At Billionaire status I'm sure Chanel comes to them as a high tier VIP shopper and to me I highly doubt this type of client is shopping from the RealReal.

This is true at billionaire status chanel probably give them VIP status. Other thing to consider buying IG vs proper business that actually has business license to do business ( fashionpile, TRR) people may feel secure buying from them than getting scammed with IG person. I seen older heart bag from the 90’s listed on Farfetch $47k. Crazy prices!

Edit to add: The cynic in me wonders how many of these could be fakes, considering I saw a few fakes on a Chanel fan IG before they were released (the account said they were fakes, fwiw)...

If I had that much money to splash I'd buy it too :nuts:

My SA says the heart bags are completely sold out and they're only bringing the next season's collection now. It's so annoying looking at all the resellers bumping up the prices just because.
