I think they all came out great! I am a sucker for vintage Coach now particularly when the leather shows character and where they have been. I absolutely love the Slim Satchel you rehabbed! The leather looks so gorgeous and soft and the color is very rich.
Once again thanks for sharing Kate, I love your posts!

Thank you, I don't mind a few flaws if I will be carrying the bag, but if I plan to give it to someone I want to look as close to new as I can achieve!

All I can say is amazing! Thanks so much for sharing you really have a special gift when it comes to giving vintage bags a new life. :smile1:

You are the REHAB QUEEN !!!! Love all your work

I second that!

well if you won't give yourself credit for an amazing job then I will... Wow! Great work they all look fab :)

Thank you all for your kind words, rehabbing is a lot of fun!

Wow. Where do I start ! Well, first, I always LOVE your posts! I too have a TON of bags awaiting rehab, and sometimes I feel so overwhelmed with the thought of it, even though while doing it I absolutely do LOVE it. YOu keep me inspired. Second, when contemplating whether it's worthwhile to attempt a rehab bag, just remember, ALL of your after bags are now beautiful and wearable. (personally, I love a little "wear and patina' on tan bags...to me, they show wear in a way I like for some odd reason better than other colors) so, bags that looked rough before, look really awesome now, and they are gonna be on someone's arm, and not in a landfill. That's just a wonderful thing. And Lastly, I'd love to see you do a You Tube rehab video and post a link for us on here LOL. Maybe then we can see what little bit of "magic" you have that makes your rehabs just shine, even though we are all trying to achieve that for ourselves and sometimes manage it, sometimes not LOL....ok, I'll go away now haha. ....great JOB!!! P.S. I love all the bags, but I LOVE seeing that NYC era satchel getting such a make over.. The NYC era bags, and Cashin bags, are my little HG bags!!

Thank you! I love your rehabs, too!
I only have one Cashin bag and it isn’t a Coach, it is a Cashin for Meyers bag and I love it but I would like to find some Coach Cashin items at a good price!
I too like the NYC bags, they are so thick and lush! It was really hard but I recently walked away from 2 very light (putty?) bags that were quite inexpensive. One was a Becket Zip ($12) and I don’t know the name of the other one but it was rounded like a pioneer bag and had a buckle closure on the front bottom and it was made in NYC and it was only $6. I looked at all the stains on these 2 lovely bags and told myself “I don’t need the frustration and I have plenty of needy bags at home just waiting for rehab!”
