Indeed, you just know when IT IS YOURS! No matter how much i like the print flat, ON ME it didn't look right. And when i re-joined the rest of my family, DH immediately 'read' it in my face, he asked WHAT i had found and WHY i was coming bare handed. I showed him a flat print picture, and while he admitted nice, warm cream/orange colourway, he said that print would not look/show well, and in this particular case i should be after THE COLOUR, and not the print. If i am not after that colour, i should pass. And, he also said (sometimes it's scary how our partners know us so well!) that i was all alone, nobody was pushing, or hurrying me, nobody was talking me out, nobody was there to STOP me. Nobody, but myself. If i didn't buy it, i must have felt it was not FOR ME. True, and i agreed with him.
