Congrats! Its lovely! I'm seriously tempted too by CSGM Selle d'Officier.
I actually think it works better in the larger format than in the 90 silk.
But yesterday I went on a shawl-appalooza shopping spree (came home with 3), so the Selle d'Officier stayed at the store ... for now... probably not for long... (oh - might as well admit it to myself, its coming home with me, just a matter of when!)

I loved the design but like you it didn't work in the silk for me so this is the one!!

Just got the scarf stories booklet for Fall. What I didn't realize that the Jardin a Sintra scarf is based on the Palace of Monseratte in Sintra Portugal. Don't know if anyone else new this so I thought I would share my discovery. Here are some pictures I found quickly browising the web. I want to go! (For now, it makes my scarf just that more enjoyable to wear).

Shawl-appalooza cracked me up! I have no H scarves or shawls (yet), but they are so beautiful and so tempting! I am a castaway on Ban Island at the moment. I went on a bit of a spree in July on bags/wallets in LV, and I am traveling later this month into September. Once I am rescued from the island, then I am thinking a shawl might be in order.
The only thing is, I am retired and my life is very casual. My husband is never out of shorts/sweats and t-shirts. I hope it won't be overkill for my lifestyle. They are just so beautiful, I am not sure I will be able to resist!
My lifestyle is very casual too and I find the shawls and scarves can work with anything. I wear mine with jeans all the time. It is also a quick way to dress up a casual look. Enjoy your travels and I hope you end up with a shawl or scarf (or 2)

Ha, after so many years collecting H, I finally got myself a first gavroche! It's just so cute to resist! It's definitely not a "power" scarf (if anybody is also reading that thread) and I am not even sure when I will wear it but here it is BdG love in CW09.
