Ok I hate this ... they keep changing fabrics ... it is not that the new ones are wrong / bad but it would be nice to know ..
I hated the 140 cm silks when they came out , fabric was too thin for my taste , so, I avoided them rather than admitting to the sa that they felt cheesy to me for fear of incurring the wrath of the sa for disparaging remarks about the silks ... not my thing ... lemme be ...
but , it would be nice if the web site told you it was some new hunky dory fabric , worth checking out

Marietouchet It seems to me that there have been three subspecies of 140cm silk, but I'm a dilettante when it comes to years .
Summer Silk was originally as you describe , very thin and wafty .I have a red Lalbhai from this time 2011?
Washed Silk Plume more like 90cm thickness but slightly more supple .My Psyche is an example.
Current offering is more like the latter , but it seems even more supple and drapey. I think it's been so for 2 or 3 years now. In tandem they still have the lightweight silk GM ,it's called Silk Plume now !

Hi folks,

Thought I'd post some side by side comparison photos of the Space Shopping au Faubourg gavroches in CW 01, 08, 09 and 12 for reference.

As you can probably tell I'm a bit indecisive, so I ordered almost every color [emoji4] The CWs I thought I would like best ended up being my least favorite when worn. Still deciding which to keep, but leaning towards 01 and 09.

I mentally thought , meh--- not being a fan of the format .As she showed me and modelled ,it I gasped, it looked fantastic.
Looked pretty good on me too , but I'd vowed never to go down that format again.
Sorry , no photos, I never carry my phone if i use my Evelyne as it's too heavy!
Colours were weird: lavender, green, brown, grey , sludge. But i tell you , it's going to keep me awake tonight!

That colourway sounds beautiful...especially the sludge! Dreamy...:)

I'll look out for the Colliers de Chien 140 silk as I like that pattern, I wear my Equateur 140 silk during the warmer months and would like to add another in that format.
BTW, did you keep a Samourai twill in a different cw from the one you exchanged?

Looks beautiful on you Croisette! I think that colorway is the old 08, but is really 09. It looks like the one they sent me by mistake and we found out the site was incorrect. Didn't work for me, but looks so pretty on you.

I think I may want this one, just can't tell from their picture:
