I love the pink border on this cw, Mimi! I loved this design so much when it was last issued....so much so that I bought it in three cws (where is the ashamed emoticon?!).

the shawl is gorgeous, colors and Dallet design are striking and concern the quality wise,
to me, it seems to come back to some years ago, before the fluffiness of the cachemire of Loro Piana,
but with more quality, meaning that seems that the "trama" is more stiff and compact.
we will see... but for the first shawl the impression is very good
If anyone is interested in Promenade à Versailles (it was a special edition in red cw from the Chateau) it will be available in diff. cw in 90 cm twill.

For your additional information, it's a giant twill instead of summer twill. So it's a bit heavier and thicker.

I liked the summer twills. Do they still make those? I haven't seen any since the last issue of Lalbhai. I preferred the lighter weight for summer.

Love the Lalbhai- I have five of the previous releases. This is one of those designs that one can have multiple colorways and they all feel different. I'm sure I'll succumb this season, too. Love the one you posted!
Excellent news - I quite liked the design I saw on-line but I couldn't be sure until I had seen one 'in the flesh'. I heard it was a Pierre Marie design and I am wary because I find his designs over-busy.
