Today my SA showed me the first cws of the CSGM Zenobia - Queen of Palmyra received in the boutique this week for Fall 2016. One was predominantly black background with gold jewellery highlighted with turquoise. The other was a red/scarlet cw with black border and grey jewellery (I think). My initial impression was these cashmere shawls were very thin compared to past years' CSGM cashmere blends - I thought I could kind of see through the shawl - just my opinion. I was disappointed because I am looking forward to buying a Kachinas & the Dallet cat sketches in this format.


I also saw the denim blue/black CSGM 100 cm "It's a Winner" ( aka the "Pinball Machine" shown earlier in this thread in a different cw) from the men's line. The "hand" of this silk/cashmere blend seemed more in line with past CSGMs. The scarf pattern is very involved and reminded me of Hippopplis.


I didn't like anything I saw and left the boutique empty handed.

I so hope there isn't a deterioration in the quality of the cashmere this season.

Finally teasled some information out of my store regarding the forthcoming season.....
The gorgeous scarf/ thing of beauty from the men's catwalk show which has attracted some enthusiasm here is called 'Mumbai'.

Can't figure out how to post a picture on updated PurseForum yet!
