Hi Willowbarb - that's right the UK has no sales and when the A/W collection hits the sales floor you will still be able to find a lot of scarves from this Spring Summer season and some from the season before that. Some old stock is held on to - for reasons I haven't fathomed - and some ( presumably the stuff that they have given up hope of shifting) is despatched back to Paris for the big bi-annual sales there. You have to strike whilst the iron is hot with Hermes.

My local SAs won't even start to talk to me about next season because they have to concentrate on selling this season and they do find that they get confused from one season to another because it can take the full 6 months of a season to receive all the scarves. I only complicate their hard lives by stomping in asking for this and that that they can't even remember from the season's buying mission :-)

I tried to take a new full pic of the scarf but it didn't come out very well

I think I need a few more red scarves :graucho:

Love this scarf, wondering if I need a CSGM too (it will be amazing, slightly wild, theatrical and 'womanly') I suppose it will depend on the cws

Me too. I know this design is a polarizing one, but for those of us who love skeletons and edgier designs, this would be SUCH an amazing CSGM. Even if they did it in the 100 size I would be happy, as evidenced by the multiple CWs I bought of Caducée Rock (same artist as CLF).

I'll start construction on the Doomed Boat to Ban Island now. :giggles:

Reposting this photo from earlier in the thread. I believe that is Mors in the far back, and it appears to be "unmashed." I had convinced myself I didn't need more CSGMs, but this design may test that resolve.

I agree that the 'Mors' looks like an untampered with reissue - they have mashed up Eperon d'Or and Cavalcadours in one scarf already and what have they done to the faces of the horses in Quadrige?

Very much looking forward to seeing Zenobie in large format - Palmyra was always on my list of places to visit - but I couldn't find a c/w to suit me in 90cm format.

I hope Mors is not "mashed up" as it's the first one on my wishlist! As you rightly say, it doesn't look like it from the pic.... This coming season will kill me as far as CSGMs are concerned, lol! It's been years since I have bought more than 1 per season. Besides Mors, my other MUSTS are the Dallet and Kachinas...yikes:shocked:
