Thank you dear! How come US stores don't get all these nice scarves. [emoji848]
- not sure where you are located.
I bought my green one in June in San Fran. In May I saw it in some other CWs at Madison Ave, and the Waikiki store.
Also Bergdorf's. Never saw this fuschia one though. Often the mousselines are not display, and you need to ask!
Good luck!

Thank you for taking time to post this. It is beautiful. And you are right- I also noticed that the old CSGMs are sturdier than the new ones!

I am aware that they are 70/30% blend, and before that was 65/35%, but is it true that they were at one point 50/50%? I'm trying to figure out which 'generation' shawl I should hunt down for my first cashmere when the time finally comes.

I am not sure it depends on the ratio between cashmere and silk, but rather the quality of the cashmere. Silk is a naturally long fiber, while the length of cashmere fiber can vary. Longer the fiber, best is the quality. The problem is that the "fluffiness" of cashmere comes from the short fibers, and we got progressively used to fluffier cashmere (mostly because the market is getting cheaper and cheaper cashmere from China, therefore modifying the market taste). Cashmere with shorter fibers pills badly.

Older cashmere (I'd think 10+ yo would be safe) is less soft, less fluffy, but more durable. This is true for the H shawls or any other cashmere garment. I love Malo's cashmere, but it is oh so soft and it pills. I have to brush my sweaters after every use. I have some 20+ yo turtlenecks I wore to death that are 100% cashmere and don't pill at all...but they aren't fluffy.

I went to pick up my clic h in marron glacé that my SA had reserved for me and came home with my 3rd CSGM of this season!
There were 2 Kachinas available- both were lovely!

The lighter colorway showed the details of the design better, but couldn't resist the red/blue/violet colorway. The red border is very dramatic! It's very different from my other 2 CSGMs-I thought that it may look 'busy' but I love all of the details!

I'm also attaching pictures of my clic h with the c'est la fete in natural and my grey dallet.

I agree with this. Of course I've had it for nearly 30 years, but I don't remember my C en I CSGM from 1987 ever being what you'd call "fluffy." Just thick, but without any "loft" to it, if that makes sense. Like cashmere sweaters from Scotland.

Thank you, for all the likes! The scarves have been slow to come into my regular Hermes boutique this season. My Dallet, colorway 15 was transferred in from another boutique. I have seen scarves - 70, 90, 140 twill and CSGM in colorways that didn't suit me, so I quickly grabbed what I loved! I'm content for this season..... but I'll still ask my SA to update me on new 'stock'!

Update from Paris: The stock at both fsh and sevres was somewhat light. I didn't make it to george V. Cashmeres were especially sparse. If you want something get it wherever you see it. Don't wait for Paris vacations.

Twins on the red/blue/violet Kachinas! Love it.

Your Marron glacé is gorgeous - is that PGHW?

Dear BBC, yes, the marron glace is with pink gold hardware!
I think that the pink gold makes the overall color more 'cool' than 'warm' which suits me!
The clic h does almost blend in with my skin tone, so it's not a 'standout' piece. It can be an everyday bracelet or quite an elegant piece in the evening, also!
I love the complexity and details in the Kachinas! I'm so happy with this colorway and I'll try not to look at any other colorway so as not be tempted with another!

How about try duty free shops before ur departure? Lately I have noticed hidden gems in those duty free shops[emoji4]

Possibilities but you can never count on them having exactly what you want. So if you really want something get it where you can. There were no grey dallet here. No cest la fete. No boucles neutrals. Maybe 2-3 kachinas. Two to three mors. Lots of left overs but nothing popular
