What?!? Twillys don't count? Nuts!!! Are there other items that fall into this category (other than, I assume, birkins and kellys)?

Here are a couple of still life pics with my new purchases. In addition, there are two of my vintage handbags (Fassbender and Lodix), some Ferrgamo and Halcyon Days bracelets and also my MaiTai scarf rings. Please excuse the blurry photos - am using my iPad camera, which is not the best in the UK's gloomy Autumn light.

Oh, the new scarves are Bateau Fleuri gavroche (from a year ago I think) and Dans un Jardin Anglais twilly. I have been looking for these twillies to arrive on UK Hermès.com for ages! They seem to arrive for a few minutes, then disappear again. I have not been grabbed by much this season, so this is my first ever twilly. Love the cute little box!

HermesHope - congratulations to your new goodies! Your still life pictures are beautiful, like pieces of art. You've got a classy collection. The blue colours are beautiful! - I am a blue person, too :smile:

:lol:No, I mean twillys don't count in your scarf budget! So if you have x dollars allotted for scarves in 2016, and then you pop for a couple of twillys, you don't have to subtract them from your budget. Just go ahead and buy those three 90cm scarves, and the two CSGMs... live it up! (BTW, I've decided that bandanas don't count, either, since they only cost $25 more than twillys. And they're little. :happydance: )

And of course the fabulous Croisette also has one!! Hot pink is not usually for me but I know this will look eye catching on you! As far as the plain backside, aren't all the "finesse" scarves plain [or just about so] on the backside? Is this one more so than usual?


That cassis is stunning!! Now I can't decide if I want that or the light blue. I must see both in person I think.

Since joining the Hermès scarf lovers threads, I've also had it in my head that "twillies don't count" and it's cousin, "gavroches/bandanas/pochettes don't count". Love you, silkies! :heart:
